Provided is a cell analysis method in a cell analysis device D that uses an optical path length image of a cell colony formed of a large number of cells to analyze the cell colony, the method comprising: acquiring the optical path length image of the cell colony by an acquisition unit of the cell analysis device; extracting a circular shape corresponding to a cell nucleus of the cell in the acquired optical path length image by an extraction unit of the cell analysis device extracts; comparing an inner optical path length of the extracted circular shape and an outer optical path length of the extracted circular shape by a comparison unit of the cell analysis device extracts; and analyzing the cell colony based on the comparison result by analysis unit of the cell analysis device.
Abstract:
A failure detecting gate circuit for bus signal lines. The gate circuit include gate elements connected to each bus line and controlled by control signal, and a processing unit which controls any one of the gate elements. The processing unit operates to switch the gate elements to an "ON" state when the control signals are supplied to the gate elements of each gate. The failure detecting circuit outputs an indication signal of a failure condition in the processing unit. This occurs when control signals are supplied, such that at least two gate elements are to be switched to the "ON" state simultaneously. The improvement of the present invention over previous devices is a multiplexer which outputs one of two signals indicating either a failure condition or a normal signal provided by the microcontroller.

Abstract:
An ordinary bed mattress used in an ordinary situation by a person unable to take refuge by himself/herself such as a patient unable to walk or bedridden patient can be used as a component of a stretcher in a disaster situation, if the mattress is contained in the mattress cover of this invention, and the person lying on it can be carried to a safe place for evacuation. This invention proposes a mattress cover for disaster time transportation, comprising a mattress inserting portion for inserting a mattress into the cover, grip portions attached to the cover at the portions corresponding to the corners of the mattress as contained within the cover, and the ends on one side of multiple fastening belts to be fastened across in the transverse direction of the mattress as contained within the cover, being fixed to the cover at the portions corresponding to the longitudinal edges of the mattress as contained within the cover.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an impact sensor which has neither electrical contacts exposed to an atmosphere nor any movable components, which is durable and highly reliable, and which is able to safely sense a vehicle impact even if loaded in a vehicle for a considerable period of time. The impact sensor comprises a piezoelectric element (3, 13) for generating a voltage of a magnitude in accordance with a pressure, a pair of electrodes (1c, 1d, 11c, 14) disposed to sandwich the piezoelectric element, an inertial mass (6,16) adapted to apply a pressure to either one of the electrodes, and a biasing member (7, 17) for biasing the inertial mass (6, 16) toward the piezoelectric element (3, 13). When the inertial mass (6, 16) is subject to an impact, the inertial mass (6, 16) is biased to apply to the piezoelectric element (3, 13) a pressure of a level in accordance with the magnitude of the impact. The piezoelectric element (3, 13) then provides a voltage of a magnitude in accordance with the pressure applied thereto.
Abstract:
A pendulum rod is mounted so as to be able to swing within a desired or a normal swing angle. The means mounting the pendulum rod include means for restricting movement of the pendulum rod along the swinging axis relative to the support body when the pendulum rod is within this desired swinging angle to prevent the detachment thereof and for enabling free movement of the pendulum rod along the swinging axis when the pendulum exceeds the desired swinging angle to permit detachment thereof. The mounting means also include means for restricting upward movement of the pendulum along longitudinal axis and relative to the support body to prevent detachment thereof. These desired functions are carried out by one of the swinging center body and support being provided with a pair of v-shaped projections positioned at a desired interval and the other of the center body and the support portion have a pair of v-shaped grooves which engage the projections and the restricting portion which is loosely fitted between the projections and restricts the longitudinal movement of the swinging body.
