Abstract:
An apparatus for cleaning a felt in a system for producing a paper web has a device for introducing a cleaning liquid into the felt and at least one following suction device in the direction of movement of the felt and having a vacuum duct, through which the cleaning liquid is suctioned out of the felt. The suction device between the vacuum duct and the felt is formed with suction ducts, through which the cleaning liquid in the felt is suctioned away. At least one of the suction ducts is assigned an inflatable valve element. In the inflated state of the valve element the suction duct is closed and in its ventilated state the suction duct is opened.
Abstract:
An apparatus for spraying a liquid, such as a cleaning liquid or a lubricating liquid, onto a wire or onto a felt in a plant for paper production. The apparatus has pipeline for supplying the liquid and spray nozzles for ejecting the liquid. A shaft with a cleaning device for the spray nozzles or for the inner wall of the pipeline is disposed within the pipeline. The shaft includes a cylindrical sleeve which has a slotted guide and a thread and is arranged in a housing which adjoins the pipeline, the thread interacting with a control spindle and, furthermore, a bolt or the like being provided which can be adjusted transversely with respect to the housing and projects into the slotted guide in a first position, as a result of which, during a rotation of the control spindle, the shaft is displaced in the longitudinal direction of the pipeline. Here, a second bolt or the like is provided, by which the control spindle can be coupled to the cylindrical sleeve in terms of its rotation, as a result of which, after adjustment of the first bolt or the like out of the slotted guide, the shaft can be rotated by the control spindle.
Abstract:
A device for releasably fastening a wire foil to a supporting strip in an installation for producing paper. The installation has a wire and wire foils that extend transversely with respect to the movement direction of the wire. The foils are situated at a spacing from one another in the movement direction of the wire and come into contact with the wire. Supporting strips for the wire foils are assigned to the wire foils and likewise extend transversely with respect to the movement direction of the wire. The wire foils or the supporting strips which are assigned to them are configured in their longitudinal direction with an undercut groove, and the supporting strips or the wire foils are configured with a spring which corresponds to the cross section of the undercut groove. It is possible for the wire foils to be pushed with play onto the supporting strips transversely with respect to the movement direction of the wire, with the result that, in their operating position, they are fastened releasably to the supporting strips. A clamping strip which extends in the longitudinal direction of the supporting strip and the wire foil is provided between the supporting strip and the wire foil, the displacement of the clamping strip in its longitudinal direction bringing about a transverse movement of the wire foil with respect to the supporting strip, as a result of which the wire foil is connected rigidly in its operating position to the supporting strip.
Abstract:
The temperature of the ceramic elements of a supporting or wiping strip that is assigned to a wire or a felt in a paper production facility, is controlled by guiding a cooling carrier medium or a heating carrier medium through the supporting or wiping strip. For that purpose, the supporting or wiping strip is formed with at least one channel, through which the carrier medium for heat or for cold is pumped.
Abstract:
A device for supporting a wire or felt in a paper production plant or the paper web produced in the plant. The supporting device includes at least one rotatably mounted supporting roll or the like. The at least one supporting roll or the like is mounted in a bearing shell and, on the side facing away from the wire, the felt or the paper web, can have applied to it a medium capable of flowing, specifically a liquid or a gas, by which means it is kept at a distance from the bearing surface.
Abstract:
A device for adjusting the position of the wiper strip on the screen in a papermaking plant regulates the contact pressure with which the wiper strip bears on the screen. The wiper strip is fixed to a supporting bar and the supporting bar is configured such that it can be moved with respect to the screen counter to the action of a spring device, in particular an air spring, in order to adjust its position with respect to the screen. A plurality of holding bars are provided along the supporting bar, that can be adjusted in terms of their effective thickness in relation to pressing the wiper strip against the screen.
Abstract:
A hydrofoil for a papermaking installation has a supporting bar and plates of a ceramic material. Either the supporting bar or each ceramic plate fixed to the latter is formed on the mutually facing sides with at least one undercut groove extending in the direction of the supporting bar over the length of the plate, and the respective other part is formed with at least one retaining strip formed approximately oppositely to the undercut groove and extending in the direction of the supporting bar. The at least one retaining strip can be clamped in the at least one groove.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for measuring the moisture content of pulp material on a wire in an installation for producing paper. The apparatus includes a measuring device for measuring the moisture content of the pulp material. The apparatus has a moisture sensor, a control and data processing unit assigned to the measuring device, and a transmitting and receiving device and/or a connection for a data line for transmitting the measured data to the control and data processing unit. The measuring device for measuring the moisture content of the pulp material includes a pressure measurement device for determining and displaying a pressure range with which it is being pressed against the wire. The contact pressure is controlled and taken into account during the measurement of the moisture content.
Abstract:
An apparatus for adjusting a scraper bar in a line for producing a paper web, having a wire, assigned to which are scraper bars oriented transversely to its direction of movement and situated at a distance from one another. The scraper bar is supported by a support bar and is adjustable with respect to the support bar and with respect to the wire by means of a positioning device. The scraper bar and the support bar are coupled together by way of links that are mounted thereon. The distance or the angular position of the scraper bar with respect to the support bar and thus with respect to the wire is adjustable by a displacement of the scraper bar with respect to the support bar.
Abstract:
A tearing tape which is composed of paper for severing a paper web which moves from a system for producing paper and is wound up on drums, in order as a result to make it possible for it to be wound onto an empty drum. Here, the tearing tape, in cross-section, has a central tape part and two lateral tape parts. The central tape part has a thickness that is at least 1.5 times greater than a thickness of the lateral tape parts.
