    摘要: Described is a corner extension mounting system used to secure a net system to buildings or structures that have obstructions such as corners. The corner extension mounting system easily and quickly attaches to a floor beam or other structure around the perimeter of a building or structure. The corner extension mounting system includes a mounting bracket, a corner extension, a support bracket, and a cantilever arm. The mounting bracket is adjustable and also reinforces the corner extension and the support bracket. The support bracket attaches to two cantilever arms that are positioned perpendicularly around the corner of a building. The cantilever arms are attached to the support bracket with pivot pins that allow the cantilever arms to rotate. A debris net is suspended between the upper end of the cantilever arm and the building. Among other things, the corner extension mounting system allows for easy installation of a net system around a building or structure undergoing construction or maintenance.

    摘要: A free standing perimeter net system is disclosed. The perimeter net system is comprised of a support arm, a support cable, an uplift brace, at least one net system brace, a back plate, a pivot, a vertical support, a strut, and a pair of strut brackets. These components work together to allow a safety net system to easily be installed around a structure without directly attaching to the structure. The support arm rotates between an open and a closed position on the pivot. This configuration allows the net, which is attached to the support arm, to be deployed at various angles. When the support arm rotates, the uplift brace also adjusts and aids in securing the support arm and net in the desired position. The vertical support couples the net system to the building or structure via the back plate and strut. The net system braces are also attached to the vertical support and provide added rigidity to the net system.

    摘要: The invention resides in a system and method of tensioning a net comprising a frame having at least two opposing frame members and a net extending therebetween. The net is made from material of cords of a water soluble yarn capable of high shrinkage rates when wetted with water and dried. A tensioning device may be provided along one of said frame sides for causing tensioning of localized regions in said mesh after said mesh is wetted with water. The invention further resides in a method of tensioning a net to a frame having at least two opposing frame members and the net extending therebetween such that by sizing the net larger than said frame and mounting the net onto the frame such that the border is located outside of the frame and wetting the net and allowing it to dry, the net shrinks around the frame taking up play otherwise existing prior to the wetting step.
