    摘要： A filter assembly of a washer is disclosed, by which particles contained in water can be efficiently filtered off in the course of washing the laundry and by which the filtered-off particles are prevented from being discharged from the filter assembly. In a washer including an inner wall having an outlet and a circulation passage provided between the inner wall and a wash tub to enable water to circulate to the outlet from a bottom of the wash tub, the present invention includes a closed-type filter unit configured to filter off particles from the water discharged from the outlet and to prevent the filtered-off particles from being externally discharged.

    摘要： In a method for cleaning the foreign materials filtering, foreign materials collected in a foreign materials filtering space can be easily removed under a filter unit is separated from or is mounted at a filter cover unit. As a result, can be solved the conventional problems that a net filter has to be kept inside out at the time of a cleaning process to cause a user's hands to become dirty, and there is a difficulty in removing foreign materials from the net filter due to a fibrous characteristic of the net filter. Accordingly, a cleaning operation for the foreign materials filtering apparatus can be facilitated.

The laundry treating apparatus includes an outer case defining an appearance of the laundry treating apparatus, a washing tub arranged in the outer case, to receive laundry, a top lid mounted to a top of the outer case such that the top lid is openable and closeable, and an air flow assembly defining a passage communicating an interior of the outer case and an exterior of the outer case. The laundry treating apparatus can prevent moisture from staying in the interior of the laundry treating apparatus for a prolonged period of time, thereby preventing a failure of the laundry treating apparatus, generation of an offensive odor and propagation of bacteria in the interior of the laundry treating apparatus.

    摘要： In a foreign materials filtering apparatus and a washing machine having the same, owing to a detachable mounting structure between a handle and a front filter and between a rear filter and the front filter, foreign materials collected in a foreign materials filtering space can be easily cleaned. Accordingly, can be solved the conventional problem that a net filter has to be kept inside out at the time of a cleaning process, resulting in causing a user's hands to become dirty. Also, can be solved the conventional problem that there is a difficulty in removing foreign materials from the net filter due to a fibrous characteristic of the net filter.
