摘要: A method, system and apparatus having a spa shell or like vessel containing water or like liquid, a water heating element, a heat chamber molded into the seat of said spa, said seat having conduits therein for the passage of water from the heat chamber to the spa shell, said heat chamber having conduits provided therein which are connected to the heater element which heater element would consist of a commercially and generally available home electrical or gas water heater, with said liquid contents of said spa shell being circulated by a pump whereby the water is pumped from said heat chamber to the interior of the spa shell.

摘要: A hose construction and methods of making the same are provided, the hose construction comprising a tubular hose and a coupling secured to one end of the tubular hose, the inner peripheral surface of the tubular hose comprising an inner corrugated hose made of polymeric material and having inwardly convex projections with recesses therebetween and extending from one end of the tubular hose to the other end thereof, the coupling having an insert disposed in one end of the tubular hose and being radially outwardly expanded into sealing relation with the inner corrugated hose, the insert having an outer peripheral surface defined by a plurality of outwardly convex projections with recesses therebetween, the projections of the insert being respectively received in the recesses of the inner hose and the projections of the inner hose being respectively received in the recesses of the insert whereby the interior of the tubular hose is substantially sealed to the interior of the coupling, the inner peripheral surface of the inner hose having been treated so that the projections and recesses thereof more readily conform to the recesses and projections of the insert at the time the insert was radially outwardly expanded.

摘要: A tensioner for a power transmission belt or the like that is adapted to be operated in an endless path and a method of making the same are provided, the tensioner comprising a support unit for being fixed relative to the belt, a belt engaging unit carried by the support unit and being movable relative thereto, a polymeric spring unit being operatively associated with the support unit and the belt engaging unit for urging the belt engaging unit relative to the support unit and against the belt with a force to tension the belt, and a coiled mechanical spring also being operatively associated with the support unit and the belt engaging unit for urging the belt engaging unit relative to the support unit and against the belt with a force to tension the belt whereby the polymeric spring unit and the mechanical spring combine to define the tensioning force for the belt while the polymeric spring unit additionally tends to dampen the movement of the belt engaging unit relative to the support unit, the mechanical spring being substantially completely embedded in the polymeric spring unit so that the mechanical spring is substantially completely engaged and surrounded by the polymeric spring unit.
