    Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating three-dimensional (3D) image data by using 2D image data including a dummy component and an image component relating to an input image, wherein the dummy component is used to adjust a resolution of the input image, are provided. The method includes: generating a depth map that corresponds to the 2D image data; detecting a dummy area including the dummy component from the 2D image data; and correcting depth values of pixels that correspond to the dummy area in the depth map.

    Abstract: A color saturation adjusting apparatus is provided for use in a display system, including an RGB-HSV conversion unit, a color saturation adjusting function setting unit, a color saturation adjusting unit and an HSV-RGB conversion unit. The RGB-HSV conversion unit receives an input RGB image signal and converts RGB values of the input RGB image signal into corresponding HSV values. The color saturation adjusting function setting unit sets a color saturation adjusting function in response to key input of a user. The color saturation adjusting unit generates new HSV values in which color saturation values are varied from the color saturation values of the original HSV values by using the color saturation adjusting function. The HSV-RGB conversion unit converts the new HSV values obtained by the color saturation adjusting unit into corresponding RGB values and outputs the RGB values.

    Abstract: A refrigerator having an intermediate storage compartment, which has an improved structure of a return flow passage to return cold air from the intermediate storage compartment. The refrigerator includes a first evaporator to supply cold air to an upper storage compartment, a second evaporator to supply cold air to a lower storage compartment, a cold air supply duct to supply cold air generated at the second evaporator to an intermediate storage compartment, and a curved section formed at a top of the intermediate storage compartment to uniformly distribute the cold air supplied via the cold air supply duct in the intermediate storage compartment. The refrigerator also includes a cold air return duct to return cold air from the intermediate storage compartment, and an ice-making cold air return duct to return cold air from an ice maker. The cold air return duct is joined with the ice-making cold air return duct.
