The present invention relates to an engine-driven electricity generation system and, more particularly, to an engine-driven electricity generation system that can selectively use diesel and LNG as fuel by recycling a diesel engine from a scrapped vehicle. The engine-driven electricity generation system according to the present invention heats intake air with an electric burner to start an engine using LNG and then heats the intake air using heat from a high-temperature exhaust gas after starting the engine, thereby accelerating ignition of LNG. Accordingly, it is possible to use both diesel and LNG in a scrapped diesel engine.
