摘要: A monitoring system is configured to perform a cause analysis of an event which occurs in any of a plurality of node apparatuses. The monitoring system is configured to store a plurality of rules indicating a correspondence relationship between one or more condition events regarding any of the plurality of node apparatuses, and a conclusion. The monitoring system is configured to specify the first conclusion associated with the detected condition event based on the rule, and perform a detection possibility judgment on whether the monitoring system can detect the condition event or not, for each of one or more condition events out of a plurality of condition events, and calculate the first index value indicating the certainty of the first conclusion being the cause, based on the existence of detection of one or more condition events associated with the first conclusion and the result of the detection possibility judgment.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a liquid crystal module having a liquid crystal display panel, and a backlight unit disposed on a back surface of the liquid crystal display panel. The liquid crystal display panel has a flexible printed wiring circuit substrate for a liquid crystal display panel. The backlight unit has a light guiding plate, a light emitting diode for emitting a light, a flexible printed wiring circuit substrate for a light emitting diode, and a case in which the light guiding plate and the flexible printed wiring circuit substrate for a light emitting diode are accommodated. The flexible printed wiring circuit substrate for a liquid crystal display panel extends along a side surface of the case. The flexible printed wiring circuit substrate for a light emitting diode has a derivation portion.

摘要: A file server device is provided which has less chance of error in changing directory settings information. A file server device that has access to a client computer and a disk array device receives a directory settings file, and writes the directory settings file in a specified shared directory. The file server device chooses, as a migration destination candidate, a volume whose settings information matches new settings information of the shared directory which is set as specified in the directory settings file. The file server device migrates information in the shared directory whose settings information is changed to the volume chosen as a migration destination candidate.

摘要: According to an aspect of an embodiment, a method for controlling a controller connected to a plurality of storage units storing data, the controller including a cache and a buffer, the method comprising the steps of: storing data in the cache; generating parity data corresponding to the data and storing the parity data in the buffer; writing the data and the parity data into the plurality of the storage units; comparing the parity data stored in the buffer with the parity data written into and read out from at least one of the storage unit; deleting, when the parity data stored in the buffer is different from the parity data read out from the storage unit, the parity data from the buffer; and regenerating parity data from data stored in the cache and rewriting the regenerated parity data into at least one of the storage unit.

摘要: A disk management method for managing a disk management device for writing and reading data to and from a disk drive in which a recording medium is managed in a first control unit. The disk management method includes an error checking operation for checking an error on the recording medium in the first control unit, an error correction operation for correcting the error detected in the error, an error correcting operation for correcting the error detected in the error checking operation after converting data including the error to the second control unit, a data loss registration operation for registering a region in which data are lost due to an inconsistency between the first control unit and second control unit in a data loss region table, and a data loss recovery operation for recovering the loss of data with reference to the data loss region table.
