摘要: For specialized use to secure reliable standardized complete distribution or solution of aggregate mixed into a liquid diluent, a vessel having an interior hemispherical concave bottom having extending upwardly centrally from the concave bottom an arcuate conical member having upright concavely-shaped circumscribing sides. The vessel is taken in conjunction with a stably mounted mixing structure having a downwardly-extending shaft and mixing blades thereof. The shaft on a lower portion thereof supports balanced mixing blades extending radially outwardly from the mixing shaft. The mixing blades are positioned to be substantially spaced below a predetermined liquid level of liquid diluent containing a dissolvable or suspendable aggregate and to be substantially spaced above an upper end of the centrally upwardly arcuate conical member. The blades when positioned and when the mixing structure is set to revolvably the blade at a predetermined result-intensive rpm, results in homogeneously distributed aggregate in liquid contained diluent.

摘要: A dissolution system provides remote flow cells integrated into a manifold device. The manifold device communicates with liquid input and output lines associated with each flow cell, as well as fiber-optic input and output lines associated with each flow cell. Liquid samples are respectively drawn from dissolution vessels, optically-related measurements are taken, and the samples are thereafter returned their respective vessels. The manifold device can be adapted to receive probe-type instruments that incorporate the fiber-optics, wherein each probe-type instrument is associated with each flow cell. Alternatively, each corresponding pair of fiber-optic input and output lines are disposed in opposing, optically-aligned relation and probe-type instruments are not used. The gap between the ends of the opposing fiber-optic lines provides a light path across the corresponding flow cell. Calibration procedures using blank and/or standard media are performed using the same flow cells, with provisions made for bypassing the vessels in which the samples to be analyzed are held.

摘要: A combination of a flow-cell with a rate of flow controllable and set to obtain and maintain a solvent or diluent predetermined low flow pressure from the flow-cell's inlet to the flow-cell's outlet, in which at-least an outlet thereof is alternately raised to a height above the inlet thereof sufficiently relative to mass of individual solute(s) and/or individual bead(s) (or other insoluble mass(es)) as to permit the mass of the individual solute(s) and/or individual bead(s) to move by gravity from a direction of the outlet end toward the inlet end of the flow-cell as part of a mechanism ascertainable of improved dissolving of solute and/or suspension of particles of insoluble matter.
