    Abstract: A connection system for electrically connecting a cable to a device connector includes a terminal lug having a connecting section having an opening for engaging the terminal lug into a connected state with the device connector. A fixation element fixes the terminal lug in place, in the connected state, on the device connector, with shape fit and/or with force fit, to produce a fixed state. The terminal lug has an elastomer overmolded onto it, at least in the region of its connecting section, that forms a holder having a wall. The fixation element forms a section of a locking unit arranged within the holder in the fixed state, at least in certain sections, that includes a cap element for covering the fixation element, at least in certain sections. The cap element presses against and elastically deforms the wall in the fixed state, at least in certain sections.

    Abstract: A method for easy, safe and fast removal of a section of a cable film. An end section of a cable has a cable axis, wherein the cable includes a cable jacket and at least one electrically conductive conductor structure and which includes a cable film made from a plastic and applied into one of the conductor structures. A defined damaged region is generated by inductively heating at least that conductor structure on which the cable film is applied such that the cable film applied onto the heated conductor structure is at least partially thermally damaged in the damaged region. The cable film is moved relative to one of the conductor structures, wherein a crack is formed by the relative movement in the damaged region that separates the section of the cable film to be removed from a section of the cable film remaining on the cable.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a contact system for contacting an aluminium braid (7) to a contact element (1) comprising—an electrically conducting cable (4); —the aluminium braid (7) comprising a plurality of aluminium wires, which is arranged to run at least in sections between a primary isolation (6) and a secondary isolation (8) of the electrically conducting cable (4); —die contact element (1) which can be pushed onto the electrically conducting cable (4) having an outer sleeve (3) and an inner sleeve (2) which can be inserted therein. To achieve a contact system which makes possible, in a simple fashion, a reliable contacting of an aluminium braid to a contact element without additional soldering systems being required, according to the invention the inner sleeve (2) has a first contact surface (2a) and the outer sleeve (3) has a second contact surface (3a), wherein each contact surface (2a, 3a) has areas of different size of cross-section and the contact surfaces (2a, 3a) are designed in such a manner that the aluminium braid (7) is clamped in a contact position by the inner sleeve (2) being pushed axially inside the outer sleeve (3) and contact is made with the contact element (1).

    Abstract: The invention relates to a cable (1) with at least one strand (2) having twisted litz wires (3) for conducting electrical current and an insulation sheath (4) surrounding the at least one strand (2) for electrically insulating the at least one strand (2). The cable (1) has an interruption section (5) without an insulation sheath (4) between two cable sections (6, 6′) with an insulation sheath (4). According to the invention, the twisted weave of the at least one strand (2) is loosened in the interruption section (5), in order to interrupt the transport of moisture through the cable (1), in particular through the at least one strand (2), that results from capillary pressure and/or temperature-related pressure differences along the cable (1), such that the pressure in the interruption section (5) can equalize with that of the exterior.

    Abstract: A method for producing an electrical connection between an electrical conductor, which includes a plurality of individual wires, and a contact element.
