摘要: A radiating system configured to operate electromagnetic wave signals from first and second frequency regions, wherein the lowest frequency of the second frequency region is above the highest frequency of the first frequency region: the radiating system comprising a radiating structure, a radiofrequency system, and an external port. The radiating structure comprises a first boosting element electrically connected to a first conductive element, a second boosting element electrically connected to a second conductive element, and a ground plane layer. The radiofrequency system comprises a first matching network connected to the first conductive element and the external port, and a second matching network connected to the second conductive element and a ground port. The first and second matching networks are configured to modify the impedance of the radiating structure providing impedance matching to the radiating system, at the external port, in the first and second frequency regions.

One of the boosters comprises a slot or a gap in a ground plane layer and another of the boosters comprises at least a conductive part or element connected at a point to an additional conductive element that comprises a feeding point. The radiating structure also comprises the ground plane layer and a radiofrequency system. The radiating system also comprises one or two ports, each providing operation at least at one of the communication systems of operation.

摘要: The present invention refers to an antenna less wireless handheld or portable device comprising a communication module including a radiating system capable of transmitting and receiving electromagnetic wave signals in a first frequency region and in a second frequency region, wherein the highest frequency of the first frequency region is lower than the lowest frequency of the second frequency region. The radiating system comprising a radiating structure and at least one internal port, wherein the input impedance of the radiating structure at the/each internal port when disconnected from the radiofrequency system has an imaginary part not equal to zero for any frequency of the first frequency region; and wherein said radiofrequency system modifies the impedance of the radiating structure, providing impedance matching to the radiating system in the at least two frequency regions of operation of the radiating system.

摘要: A wireless device comprises a radiating structure that comprises a ground plane layer etched on a PCB, including a clearance area nearby one edge of the PCB, and an antenna element mounted on the clearance area. The radiating structure is included in a radiating system that also includes a radiofrequency system comprising at least a matching network, including more than three components. The radiofrequency system connects the antenna element to a feeding line connected at its end to an external port. The antenna element features a maximum length within the 22-30 mm range to match the radiating system in the multiple frequency bands of operation. In general, a radiating system features extended bandwidth, typically including LTE700 bands or below. The antenna element may include two conductive adjacent surfaces with a convex shape connected between them.

摘要: A wireless handheld or portable device includes an antenna system operable in a first frequency region and a higher, second frequency region. The antenna system comprises an antenna structure, a matching and tuning system, and an external input/output (I/O) port. The antenna structure comprises at least one radiating element including a connection point, a ground plane layer including at least one connection point, and at least one internal I/O port. At least one radiating element of the antenna structure protrudes beyond the ground plane layer. The antenna structure features at any of its internal I/O ports when disconnected from the matching and tuning system an input return loss curve having a minimum at a frequency outside the first frequency region of the antenna system. The matching and tuning system modifies the impedance of the antenna structure and provides impedance matching to the antenna system in the first and second regions.

摘要: A radiating system comprises a radiating structure including two or more radiation boosters for transmission and reception of electromagnetic wave signals, a radiofrequency system and an external port. The radiating system is capable of operation in at least a first and second frequency regions which are preferably separated. The radiofrequency system comprises two or more matching networks and a combining structure at which, in transmission, electromagnetic wave signals from the external port are substantially separated and coupled to each radiation booster based on the frequency of the signals; and, in reception, signals from each radiation booster are combined and coupled to the external port. The radiofrequency system provides impedance matching to the radiating structure in the first and second frequency regions at the external port. An advantage of such radiating system is that signals from the first and second frequency regions are fed to and retrieved in one single port.
