摘要: A method and an analyzer for producing information associated with a process is disclosed. Information from information sources that associate with the process is processed to classify the information into characteristic states. Results of the classification are then analyzed for producing information associated with at least one root cause for an event by means of at least one analyzing technology that is capable of reasoning under at least one uncertainty.

摘要: A method and a device for controlling a process (10), having at least two sub-processes (20, 30), by tracking, processing and correcting variables for the product, the production means and/or any process media throughout the process line. The process flow for the first sub-process (20) is divided into slices, each slice representing a specific volume of process flow. At least some of the measured and sampled variable values are related to its specific slice volume. Any variable value obtained is processed using a control and processing, unit (60) with means for receiving, information on variable values on-line, means for presenting (70) the process flow through the production units, means for dividing the process flow into slices, means for processing a variable value obtained, including means for relating, the variable value to is specific slice volume, means to develop one or more multivariate models based on variable values for a multiple of slice volumes and means to combine the multivariate model with a processed variable value for a specific slice volume to predict a variable value and/or a quality variable for subsequent second sub-process (30). Corrective actions are executed in the subsequent second sub-process (30) based on a processed variable value from the first sub-process (20) using, actuating, means (80) for execution of corrective action.

摘要: From a liquid mixture containing a liquid in a continuous phase and a liquid in the form of drops in a phase dispersed therein, the liquid in the dispersed phase is separated from the liquid in the continuous phase by passing the liquid mixture through a liquid-permeable layer (11, 12), arranged in chamber (10), with through-holes of which at least the majority has a cross section area which is greater than the cross section area of at least the main part of the drops in the dispersed phase, the liquid mixture being sheared, by means of a rotor (23) arranged in the chamber on the inlet side of the liquid-permeable layer, over the layer while maintaining a film (24) of liquid, movable along the layer, from the dispersed phase on the layer and while maintaining a higher pressure on the inlet side of the layer than on its outlet side. Drops of dispersed liquid then coalesce in the film and in the through-holes of the layer and can thus be separated from the liquid in the continuous phase.

摘要: A device for separation of constituents, separable in a filter, from a liquid medium, comprising a stack of a plurality of plate units (10), arranged one after the other, with filters (11) arranged therein. Along the filters there are arranged rotors (24) for scraping off coatings deposited on the filters. Each rotor is mounted on a separate shaft piece (22) arranged in each plate. The shaft pieces are connected to each other by means of connections which can be drawn apart in the stacking direction of the plate units. Defects in the device can be detected in a channel (20) which extends in the stacking direction of the plate units and which is common to liquid having passed through the filter. A defective plate unit can be shut off, while maintaining the separation device in operation, and be replaced without dismantling the entire device (FIG. 7).

摘要: A separation means for a liquid medium containing undissolved constituents comprises a chamber (10) with dynamic membrane (11, 12) arranged therein, said membrane consisting of a porous support matrix (11a, 12a) or other support matrix with through holes, and a layer (11b, 12b) of a small-sized particle material generated thereon in the chamber. In such a separation means the flow of the liquid medium is split into two streams, one constituting the permeate stream which penetrates through the membrane and the other constituting the reject stream which flows past the membrane. To regenerate the membrane, the deposit of said undissolved constituents formed on the membrane during use of the separation means is removed from the support matrix, with the aid of one or more movable devices (21b, 22, 23) brought into mechanical contact with the layer of particle material and moved along the support matrix by a rotor (21) arranged in the chamber, while at least a portion of the particle material is allowed to remain on the support matrix.
