摘要: A toner composition that includes at least one low molecular weight amorphous polyester resin, at least one high molecular weight amorphous polyester resin, at least one crystalline polyester resin, at least one wax, at least one biocide and at least one colorant, and wherein the toner composition has a minimum fusing temperature of from about 100° C. to about 125° C.

摘要: A method for making a pharmaceutical by emulsion aggregation, the method including emulsifying a first pharmaceutical agent and a biodegradable resin to form a primary emulsion of pre-aggregated particles in a slurry; aggregating the pre-aggregated particles to form aggregated pharmaceutical particles in the slurry; and isolating the pharmaceutical particles. The method may be used to make time-released, multi-formulation, and inhalable pharmaceuticals.

In embodiments, the toner is a non-magnetic single component toner produced by emulsion aggregation methods.

摘要: An additive package is provided for use with toners. The additive package may be utilized with ultra low melt toners formed by emulsion aggregation processes. The additive package of the present disclosure provides toners with a low minimum fusing temperature to enable high speed printing. Toners possessing the additive package of the present disclosure also possess wide fusing latitude, good release, high gloss, high blocking temperature, robust particles, excellent triboelectric charge properties, and the like.

摘要: A toner for particular use in devices utilizing hybrid scavengeless development includes toner particles of at least one binder, at least one colorant, and optionally one or more additives, the toner exhibiting a charge per particle diameter (Q/D) of from −0.1 to −1.0 fC/&mgr;m with a variation during development of from 0 to 0.25 fC/&mgr;m and the distribution is substantially unimodal and possesses a peak width of less than 0.5 fC/&mgr;m, and the toner has a triboelectric charge of from −25 to −70 &mgr;C/g with a variation during development of from 0 to 15 &mgr;C/g following triboelectric contact with carrier particles. Use of a toner with such properties in a hybrid scavengeless development apparatus enables images to be achieved with properties similar to that achieved in offset lithography.
