Abstract: The present invention provides a receptacle retaining device. The device includes a support post. A pair of arms extends outwardly from the support post. Magnets are disposed on the distal ends of the arms for releasably engaging a metal plate in an associated receptacle. The arms may be adjustable with respect to the support post for accommodating receptacles of varying heights.
