    摘要: A fully adjustable system is provided for reducing overheating of engines caused by the blockage of air flow by snow plow blades. One embodiment mountable onto blades of a split V-plow includes two elongated deflectors, two T-shaped mounting brackets, and a U-shaped slide bracket. When the system is assembled, the base plates are slidable in a direction parallel to the blade before the fasteners are tightened, the deflectors are slidable relative to the slide bracket in a direction parallel to the blade before the fasteners are tightened, the deflectors are slidable in a direction perpendicular to the blade before the fasteners are tightened, and the deflectors are angularly rotatable relative to a top lip of the blade.

The particles are comprised of a biocompatible polymer which maybe a co-polymer such as PLGA combined with a peptide of a sequence of interest, e.g. a sequence which corresponds to a sequence presented on a surface of a cell infected with a virus. A plurality of different groups of particles are provided in the formulation wherein the particles within any single group include peptides of identical amino acid sequence. The particles are sized such that they are sufficiently large so as to prevent more than the contents of a single particle from being presented to a single immune system cell.

    摘要: Disclosed is a downhole fluid resistivity sensor that includes a ceramic cylinder having a fluid-contacting surface, and at least four metal pins that penetrate a wall of the ceramic cylinder at axially-spaced locations. The pins are bonded to the ceramic to form a pressure seal. The sensor may include a circuit that injects current into a fluid via an outer two of the pins, and measures a resulting voltage via an inner two of the pins. The circuit may also provide an indication of fluid resistivity based at least in part on the resulting voltage. At each of the axially-spaced locations, a set of multiple pins may penetrate the wall to contact the fluid at circumferentially-spaced positions. The fluid-contacting surface may be an inner surface or an outer surface of the ceramic cylinder. A downhole fluid resistivity measurement method is also described.

A fiber mat facer may include a non-woven web of fibers having a first group of fibers with an average fiber diameter from about 6 μm to about 20 μm and a second group of fibers with an average fiber diameter from about 0.5 μm to about 5 μm. The fiber mat facer may also include a binder to bond together the non-woven web of fibers into the fiber mat. The binder may include a water repellant additive.     摘要: Described herein are technologies pertaining to predicting whether a living being, such as a human being, an animal, or a plant, has a phenotype or set of phenotypes in real-time or near real-time. A filter set of genetic markers are determined heuristically, by first univariately computing scores for respective genetic markers that are indicative of their predictive ability with respect to the phenotype or the set of phenotypes. Thereafter, during training, the filter set is initially selected and thereafter expanded based upon the scores, until predictive accuracy for the phenotype or set of phenotypes reaches a threshold or is optimized. The filter set, which includes a relatively small number of genetic markers, is subsequently employed for real-time or near-real time phenotype prediction.
