摘要： A method is provided in one example embodiment and includes receiving video data associated with a meeting in a video conferencing environment; and displaying a plurality of images of participants of the meeting around a presenter or around collaboration material such that an overview of the participants is rendered on a display. The presenter or the collaboration material is rendered near a middle portion of the display. At least some of the participants are at one or more locations, which are remote from the display.

摘要： A method is provided in one example embodiment and can include displaying a first image signal on a screen and capturing an object in front of the screen in a captured object/image signal. The method may further include generating an object signal by removing the first image signal from the object/image signal, where the object signal is a representation of the object captured in front of the screen.
