Abstract: A method and apparatus generate a face animation in a computer system. An input of a face image is received. A head model and a skull model are determined for the face image. The head model is matched with the skull model, and a face model is generated. At least one parameter for the generated face model is adjusted according to an expression of the input face image, thus being capable of allowing a user to easily generate a face model and a facial animation with various expressions without manually adjusting various parameters.
