Abstract:
Proposed are a method of preparing a coated pigment, which includes: preparing a pigment dispersion by mixing and dispersing first and second surfactants with a pigment in water; and coating the pigment by adding and mixing an emulsion obtained by mixing and emulsifying a monomer, a cross-linker, and a polymerizable surfactant, to and with the pigment dispersion, a water-based ink composition containing a monovalent cationic metal ion thickener and the coated pigment prepared thereby, and a water-based writing instrument including the ink composition. When preparing the coated pigment by the above method, there are advantages of improving pigment dispersion stability and adsorption stability of a coating layer and controlling strength according to the use of the cross-linker. In addition, when using the coated pigment as an ink pigment, adhesiveness and lubricity can be improved while providing a better writing experience.

A knock type pen includes a body in which a lead and a spring which provides an elastic force to the lead are received, and a knock section which is coupled to a rear end of the body and includes a knock body and a rotary cam to push the lead out of a tip of the body or receive the lead inside, wherein the knock type pen includes a cutout groove which extends in one direction along an axial direction of the body, a slit hole which extends along a downward direction from an upper end of the cutout groove, an insert hole which is formed in a direction perpendicular to the slit hole from the upper end of the cutout groove, and a locking section which moves up and down along the slit hole.

The present disclosure relates to a knock type pen including a housing in which a lead storing ink is received, a knock element which is placed moveably up and down in the housing, and has a button section protruding from an open upper side of the housing in an upper end part and a toothed protrusion coupled to a lower end part, and a rotary cam which is disposed between the lead and the knock element and rotatably placed in the housing, and has a guide protrusion which comes into contact with the toothed protrusion.

The present invention relates to relates to a thermochromic writing instrument that may use thermochromic ink and erase a written content by generating heat with a frictional member provided thereat.An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a thermochromic writing instrument including: a body configured to be provided with a knock mechanism that exposes a thermochromic writing part to the outside or accommodates the thermochromic writing part; a rib configured to be provided at an inner circumferential surface of the body to protrude in a central line direction of the body; a moving member configured to move along the inside of the body; a frictional member configured to be provided at one side of the moving member to protrude out of the body; a weight configured to be provided at the other side of the moving member to contact or to not contact the knock mechanism according to movement of the moving member; and a guide configured to be disposed between the outside of the moving member and the inside of the body to move along the inside of the body and to be spaced apart from an outer circumferential surface of the moving member by a predetermined interval.

The present invention relates to thermochromic micro particles capable of stably implementing a high chromogenic property and a decolorization property and having an improved erasing property, thermal resistance, and chemical resistance, and a thermochromic ink composition, a writing apparatus, and a smart window using the same. The thermochromic micro particles comprise a core part including a phase change material, a dye, and a developer, the phase change material including at least one selected from the group consisting of at least one chain hydrocarbon having a carbon number of 8 or more, a hydrated inorganic salt, alcohol having a carbon number of 3 or more, and polyalkyleneglycol; and a shell layer including a polymer resin.
