    摘要: A device and method for detecting connections of a 4- or 5-terminal resistive touch panel are disclosed. The device includes five terminals and a detecting unit. When the five terminals are connected to the touch panel, the detecting unit provides a high potential and a low potential to first and last of the five terminals, respectively, thereby determining whether the touch panel is a 4- or 5-terminal resistive touch panel by determining if there is a closed circuit between the two terminals.
