A cooking device includes a base plate, a cooking plate mounted on and cooperating with the base plate to define a receiving space therebetween and formed with at least a drain hole in fluid communication with the receiving space, and a partition unit mounted on the base plate within the receiving space and dividing the receiving space into a warming compartment that is adapted to receive food therein so as to warm the food during cooking, and an oil compartment that is isolated from the warming compartment and that is adapted to receive oil, which is formed on the cooking plate as a result of cooking and which is drained through the drain hole in the cooking plate.
Abstract:
An optical mouse, with shade compensation, has a light source, a sensor and a controller. The light source illuminates a sampling plane of a mouse. The sensor consists of a 2-dimensional array of sensing elements to capture an image from the sampling plane and temporarily store the image into a 2-dimensional array of pixels, each having a pixel value. The controller is connected to the sensor for adjusting the pixel values according to a predetermined table, thereby achieving a shade compensation for the sensing elements.

A method for outputting a digital video broadcast data, applicable in a digital video broadcast receiver with a data buffer, is provided. The method comprises receiving a digital video broadcast data according to an input clock, storing the digital video broadcast data temporarily into the data buffer, outputting the digital video broadcast data temporarily stored in the data buffer according to an output clock, and adjusting the frequency of the output clock dynamically according to the remainder of the digital video broadcast data in the data buffer. The method dynamically adjusts the frequency of the output clock and be able to output the digital contents smoothly without a large number of data buffer memories.

A light brightness controller for an optical mouse, which has a light source, a current switch and a control unit. The light source illuminates a sampling plane of a mouse. The current switch has a plurality of switches respectively connected to the light source such that the control unit connected to the current switch can control an amplitude of current flowing through the light source by turning the switches on and off, thereby controlling a brightness of the light source.
Abstract:
A method and system thereof for transmitting data through multi-path bus is provided. Where a data block is divided into data segments, which are transmitted through transmission channels, and are received and assembled at the receiving end. Therefore, the present invention provides higher flexibility in transmission rate and circuit board area. Furthermore, when there is no data segment to be transmitted, simultaneous transmission for the being-transmitted data segment through another channel is allowed. Hence, transmission failure or transmission delay is avoided when any of the data transmission channels performs poorly.

The present invention discloses a comb-like amphiphilic copolymer comprising a hydrophilic segment and a hydrophobic segment. It also discloses a novel fabrication method for synthesizing said amphiphilic copolymers. A novel initiator comprising a drug molecule, e.g. 5′-DFUR, bonded to one or two macromolecules of a hydrophobic polymer is provided. A spherical micelle with core-shell structure is formed by self-aggregation of said amphiphilic copolymer. It discloses a micelle-like nanoparticle comprising one or more said amphiphilic copolymers. The nanoparticles contain said drug molecules innately with no need to encapsulate the desired drug into the nanoparticles. The nanoparticles can serve as micellar drug carriers for delivering the drug. A nanocarrier comprising said nanoparticle and an active water-insoluble substance, e.g. SN-38, Camptothecin, encapsulated in the nanoparticle is also disclosed. The nanocarriers can serve as a means of cocktail therapy to deliver a mixture of two kinds of drugs to affected parts.

A convolutional interleaving and de-interleaving circuit and the method thereof are provided. The convolutional interleaving and de-interleaving circuit includes an initial address generator, a first address generator, a second address generator, an address mixer, an adder, a controller and a memory. Wherein, the controller enables those address generators to provide or store corresponding channel addresses. Further, an adder is shared and memory addresses are appropriately arranged so as to reduce the requirement of registers. Accordingly, the required gate count and the chip layout area can be reduced.
