Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided in order to augment an image of a location with a representation of a transient object. In the context of a method, an image of a location to be presented is identified. The method also includes identifying a transient object that is not in the image of the location, but that is anticipated to be at the location during at least one period of time. The method further includes causing the image of the location to be presented with augmentation that provides a representation of the transient object. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided.
