Abstract:
A system and methods for creating a strong game racket using multiple inflation bladders. A strong game racket frame comprising a handle, a throat member coupled to the handle, a bridge portion coupled to the throat member and a head frame couple to the throat member. A method for creating a strong game racket comprising the acts of placing a pre-preg first bladder into a mold cavity shaped like a racket frame, placing various pre-formed members and/or secondary mold members into the cavity, and placing a second and/or third pre-preg bladder into the mold cavity above the first bladder and any pre-formed members and/or secondary mold members. After the mold is configured it is closed, pressurized, and heated so that the strong composite game racket can be cured.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a game racquet including an integrated circuit capable of supporting a low-voltage energy current. An embodiment of the invention provides a game racquet including one or more enhancements attached or integrated on the racquet frame. These enhancements may include but are not limited to: one or more LEDs, a sound amplification device, an electromagnetic vibration emitter, and other such enhancements as would be apparent to one skilled in the art. In a further embodiment, the game racquet responds electronically to ball impact on at least one of the strings, and subsequently performs and action or actions including but not limited to making a sound or sounds, triggering lights, triggering LEDs, triggering another type of automation on the racquet such as a vibration emitter within the handle.

Abstract:
A game racket frame is provided including at least one substantially fluid tight portion. The racket includes a handle and a head frame with strings laced through and held in tension to form a stringed hitting surface. Alternatively, the game racket of the present invention could be formed of at least one substantially fluid tight part including a handle portion and a head frame portion. The head frame includes at least one substantially fluid tight portion and has at least one unitary multi-component spring suspension module disposed on its periphery to cooperate with at least one string. The profile of the generally tubular, spring suspension module is formed by at least two components, having at least one common wall. The profile includes a first side portion and a second side portion, is closed on at least two ends, and can have at least one communicating means in common with the racket. Alternatively, when the racket is comprised of more than one substantially fluid tight part, there can also be at least one communicating means located on at least one common surface between the parts to form the substantially fluid tight game racket of the present invention.
Abstract:
The present invention is intended for use as a game racket including a handle and a head frame with strings held in tension. In particular as a high performance game racket frame including at least one generally tubular, substantially circular pivot element located at least partially within a substantially circular mating recess on at least one portion of an outside-facing peripheral surface of the head frame profile that can rotate to cooperate with at least one string. The pivot element can rest upon at least a portion of the mating recess and therefore can have at least one adjoining surface portion. In order to reduce friction, adjoining surface(s) can be coated with a suitable anti-friction agent such as silicone or it can include a “frictionless” repelling permanent magnet portion capable of sustaining magnetic levitation between the two parts. Alternatively, at least a portion of the adjoining surfaces can include communicating electromagnetic friction plates in order to control the rate at which the pivot element rotates.
