Abstract: A backlight module and a display apparatus are provided. The backlight module includes a backplane including a bottom wall and a side wall connected to define an accommodating portion; a light guide plate in the accommodating portion; an optical film on a side of the light guide plate away from the bottom wall; and a plastic frame including a retaining wall and a bearing portion, the retaining wall is arranged side by side with the side wall on a side of the side wall away from the light guide plate; the bearing portion is connected to the retaining wall on a side of the side wall and the optical film away from the bottom wall; the bearing portion includes a first surface away from the side wall and opposite to the retaining wall; at least a portion of the first surface protrudes towards a side close to the retaining wall.

Abstract: An array substrate has sub-pixel regions arranged in an array, and the sub-pixel regions include white sub-pixel regions and primary color sub-pixel regions. The array substrate includes a first substrate and a plurality of sub-pixels disposed on the first substrate. The sub-pixels include white sub-pixels and primary color sub-pixels. In a column direction, a side of each white sub-pixel is adjacent to at least one primary color sub-pixel. Each sub-pixel has light-shielding patterns. In the column direction, in a plurality of light-shielding patterns of a primary color sub-pixel adjacent to the white sub-pixel, a part of the light-shielding patterns are disposed in a white sub-pixel region where the white sub-pixel is located, and another part of the light-shielding patterns are disposed in a primary color sub-pixel region corresponding to the primary color sub-pixel.

By such technical solutions, a width of the peripheral region can be reduced, which is beneficial to realizing a narrow bezel and increasing a screen-to-body ratio.
