As more data becomes available as part of the care, the care and timeline may be adjusted automatically for more efficient utilization of resources. Accountable care optimization is provided as part of case management. Automated care before any injury or illness and automated care after discharge is provided to optimize the health and costs for a patient. The patient is assigned to the cohort based on the patient data.

Two different algorithms may each simultaneously classify all of the samples within a batch, one being based upon probabilistic analysis and the other upon a mathematical programming approach.
