A device (1) to contain and present flat cardboard blanks (40) for the purpose of individual collection of the lafter and comprising a first portion (10), including conveyor means (11) with a conveyor belt (12), a second portion (20), sensor means (23a, 23b) and a collection mouth (30). Downstream from the said conveyor means (11) there are provided at the top one or more thrust wheels (27a, 27b, 27c, 27d) which are designed to rotate relative to an axis (26x) which is disposed parallel to the downstream end edge of the said conveyor means (11), wherein the portion which faces upstream of the said thrust wheels (27a, 27b, 27c, 27d) interferes with the cardboard blanks (40) which are advancing, in order to apply thrust downwards for the cardboard blank (40) further downstream after rotation of the said wheels (27a, 27b, 27c, 27d).

A method for transferring cardboard blanks (7) in individual succession in a plant, comprising a store (1) for collection of cardboard blanks (7b), a conveyor (3), with an upstream portion (3a) which is designed to receive the cardboard blanks (7a), and a rotary collector-translator (2), comprising one or a plurality of orbiting gripper units (100, 200), wherein the cardboard blank is grasped in the store (1), extracted, translated and spaced, whilst being kept substantially parallel to the successive cardboard blank (7c), which is still disposed in the vicinity of the downstream end (1a) of the store (1); and is then inclined, and placed parallel on the upstream portion (3a) of the conveyor (3). A corresponding system, and a corresponding rotary collector-translator.
Abstract:
A method of wrapping an object with a heat-shrinkable material. A sheet of the heat-shrinkable material is heated to its frosting temperature and then fitted around the object like a sleeve so that leading and trailing ends of the sheet overlap and are welded together. The object and the sleeve are allowed to cool to shrink the sleeve onto the object.

A device for collection, translation and supply of cardboard blanks (5) from a collection store (2) to a receipt conveyor comprises two rotary elements (10a and 10b) and one or more gripper units (100, 200). Each of the said gripper units (100,200) comprises: a second shaft (114) which is supported such as to rotate idly by the said two rotary units (10a, 10b), and is oscillated by command relative to its own axis (114x) by means of first oscillator means (117, 119) which are activated by means of a first stationary cam (10); a third shaft (123) which is supported such as to rotate idly by means of two or more arms (121a, 121b) and is oscillated by command relative to its own axis (123x) by means of second oscillator means (125, 126, 127, 130, 132) which are activated by means of a second stationary cam (20); one or more gripper means (137a, 137b etc) which are supported by the said third shaft (123).

A method for closure of the first (5I-5II, 6I-7II), the second (7, 8), the third (9I-9II, 10I-10II), and the fourth (11, 12) open front and rear flaps of the end sides of half-packages (S5, S4, S3, etc.), with a sleeve, comprises the following operations: a)-application of glue (21a-21b, 23a-23b) on the outer surfaces of the second front flap (7) and of the fourth front flap (11); b)-folding towards the interior of the second front flap (7) and of the fourth front flap (11); c)-folding towards the interior of the third front flap (9I-9II) and of the first front flap (5I-5II); d)-application of glue (25a-25b, 27a-27b) on the outer surfaces of the second rear flap (8) and of the fourth rear flap (12); e)-folding towards the interior of the second rear flap (8) and of the fourth rear flap (12); and f)-folding towards the interior of the third rear flap (10I-10II) and of the first rear flap (6I-6II). -A system for implementation of the said method.
