    摘要: The present invention provides a method or treating a fabric comprising the steps of: a) contacting the fabric with a compound of an alkaline earth metal, titanium or zinc, followed by; b) contacting the fabric with C8-C24 soap, and; contacting the fabric with a water soluble compound of aluminium prior to or concurrent with the step (b), where each of the steps is carried out in presence of an aqueous carrier.

    摘要: It has been reported that many organic sunscreens lose their efficacy on exposure to UV rays. Further some of the organic sunscreens are known to interact with each other when applied on the skin with or without exposure to UV radiation. Thus such compositions are not stable. They are not very effective in blocking the UV-rays a few minutes or hours after the product has been applied to the skin. Further when such compositions are used and then exposed to sunlight or UV rays, the period over which the skin is actually protected is very short, while the consumer is under the mistaken impression that the composition is protecting his/her skin. This false impression can lead to the consumer exposing himself/herself more to sunlight thereby getting more damage to the skin.A solution to the foregoing problem is provided by a stable sunscreen composition comprising: (a) a complex of a first organic sunscreen % with a first paramagnetic metal ion; and (b) a second organic sunscreen.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a simple, economical, and efficient cyclic process for producing rhombic dodecahedron shaped glycine enriched, free flowing common salt from brine, said process comprising steps of adding glycine of concentration ranging between 10 to 25% to the saturated bnne, evaporating the saturated brine containing glycine to obtain crystals having high content of glycine, with mother liquor, washing the crystals with saturated brine to obtain rhombic dodecahedron shaped glycine enriched common salt having glycine content ranging between 0.5 to 1.0% and a washed brine, combining the mother liquor and the washed brine to obtain resulting brine, subjecting the resultant brine to solar evaporation, and repeating the steps of (iii) to (v) to obtain rhombic dodecahedron shaped glycine enriched common salt from brine with glycine concentration ranging between 0.5 to 1.0%.
