Abstract: The Loop-Slot Antenna design provides a large range of tunable frequencies for transceiving while maintaining a small profile perfect for mounting on vehicles or other objects where a large antenna is impractical or infeasible. As compared with known vertical polarization antennas that have considerable height, for instance quarter-wave and half-wave vertical stubs of h=λ/4 or h=λ/2, the antenna of this invention has height of h=λ/100.
