    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a prediction device for predicting timely delivery of telecom service orders in real time. In one embodiment, the method receives order data of historical time period and processes the order data to derive one or more variables and add missing values in the order data. Based on the processed order data, one or more models are generated and a model having least model generation error rate is identified. Using the model thus identified, prediction of timely delivery of telecom services is predicted in real time using real time data. By way of identifying factors that influence the timely delivery in each stage, helps to improve the probability of timely delivery by correcting the identified factors, thus improving customer experience and revenue realization to the telecom service providers.

    Abstract: Techniques for heuristic customer order fulfillment planning. A method may include iteratively partitioning ordered items into shipment groups according to a set partition algorithm. Of a working set including the unassigned items, the algorithm may determine the subset that optimizes fulfillment cost per member of the subset, and may assign this subset to a shipment group. To determine the subset, the algorithm may iterate over the set of combinations of fulfillment decision variables. For each combination, a list of members of the working set that may be shipped according to the combination is generated. The subset of this list that optimizes, per member of the subset, the costs of shipping according to the combination is then identified.

    Abstract: A method, system and program for entering a prospective caller in a call queue, specifically to a selection of methods and systems allowing a caller to enter a call queue utilizing an untethered form of communication based on information conveyed over a network that does not originate from a telephone or softphone. A prospective caller, who would normally use a telephone to call and enter a call queue, can do so with other means over the network, such as Instant Messaging, E-Mail, SMS, etc. When the system receives such a request, it is placed in the appropriate call queue and handled in manner similar to a call made from a telephone, not requiring the caller to hold on the telephone while in the queue.
