    摘要： A foil loading mechanism for use with an injection moulding machine producing containers having foil side wall, the mechanism comprises a body forming the peripheral wall of a cavity for receiving and retaining a foil in deformed condition, an aperture in the wall extending longitudinally of the cavity, guide means for guiding a foil into a position overlying the aperture and means for driving a foil overlying the aperture through the aperture and into the cavity. The foil in the cavity is then driven from the cavity in a longitudinal direction into a female mould cavity in register with the loaded cavity. Thereafter the male core is inserted into the female cavity and material injected into the mould cavity defined therebetween.

    摘要： A foil transfer mechanism comprises a carriage movable between foil pick-up and deposition stations, a carrier including a body having an axis of symmetry about which the carrier is angularly movably mounted on the carriage and a foil feeding vacuum plate at the pick-up station for feeding a foil from a magazine to a foil receiving circumferential surface of the carrier tangentially thereof to be wrapped therearound on rotation of the carrier. The mechanism is particularly adapted for use in an injection moulding machine for loading foils into the female cavity on one tool thereof, the one tool comprising two parts each of which defines a moulding cavity with the male tool, each part being movable out of the moulding station for loading with a foil.

    摘要： A container has a peripheral wall defined by a single preformed blank of flexible sheet material and provided with axially extending injection moulded ribs, one of which forms a seam uniting juxtaposed opposite edge portions of the piece of flexible sheet material, and at least one circumferentially extending injection moulded rib. One end of the zone bounded by the peripheral wall is closed by an end closure formed of injection moulded material or flexible sheet material. The container is formed in a container shaped mould cavity which constrains the sheet material to the required shape while the ribs and end closure are being injection moulded simultaneously.
