摘要: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that facilitate the use of application content such as text, images, video, and 3D models in XR environments. In some implementations, an XR environment is provided that has user interfaces from one or more separately executing applications. A user may use a user interface from one such application to create, edit, view and otherwise use a content item, e.g., create a document with text, images, etc., view a video, surf the web to view webpage content items. However, while a content item is within the application, the content item may be restricted with respect to access by the overall XR environment and/or one or more other content applications. Implementations disclosed herein enable users to provide input to use of the content from within one content application in the XR environment and/or one or more other applications.

摘要: Secure, controlled, interactive virtual visitation for confinement institution inmates is provided using computing devices connected through a network by managing the scheduling of visitation sessions and use of shared visitation session resources, ensuring the identities of the inmate and the person with whom the inmate is to interact in the virtual visitation session, and by monitoring the interactions and communications during the virtual visitation sessions to detect prohibited activities. Another embodiment of the invention uses a virtual desktop shared from a remote server to ensure that an inmate does not have access to prohibited applications or content during a virtual visitation session.

摘要: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that facilitate the creation of a 3D model for object detection based on a scan of the object. Some implementations provide a user interface that a user interacts with to facilitate a scan of an object to create 3D model of the object for later object detection. The user interface may include an indicator that provides visual or audible feedback to the user indicating the direction that the capturing device is facing relative to the object being scanned. The direction of the capture device may be identified using sensors on the device (e.g., inertial measurement unit (IMU), gyroscope, etc.) or other techniques (e.g., visual inertial odometry (VIO)) and based on the user positioning the device so that the object is in view.

摘要: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that enable more intuitive and efficient selection and positioning of visual effects. In some implementations, a visual effect is selected and a surface of a physical element is identified for application of the visual effect based on tracking one or more positions or gestures of a user's hand.

摘要: Devices, systems, and methods that provide content that distracts a user's attention away from discomfort, for example, occurring due to a prior injury or ongoing medical condition. The content is adjusted over time based on tracking the user's attentiveness towards the content. Specifically, the user's current attentive state may be tracked using physiological sensors and used to adapt content to mitigate the perception of discomfort. In some implementations, the user's stress is also assessed and used an indication of the user's current discomfort level to better track when the user's attentive state is shifting from the content to the discomfort and adjust the content accordingly.

摘要: Some implementations disclosed herein present a computer-generated reality (CGR) environment in which a user participates in an activity, identify a cognitive state of the user (e.g., working, learning, resting, etc.) based on data regarding the user's body (e.g., facial expressions, hand movements, physiological data, etc.), and update the environment with a surrounding environment that promotes a cognitive state of the user for the activity.

摘要: Machine learning systems and methods for embedding attributed sequence data. The attributed sequence data includes an attribute data part having a fixed number of attribute data elements and a sequence data part having a variable number of sequence data elements. An attribute network module includes a feedforward neural network configured to convert the attribute data part to an encoded attribute vector having a first number of attribute features. A sequence network module includes a recurrent neural network configured to convert the sequence data part to an encoded sequence vector having a second number of sequence features. In use, the machine learning system learns and outputs a fixed-length feature representation of input attributed sequence data which encodes dependencies between different attribute data elements, dependencies between different sequence data elements, and dependencies between attribute data elements and sequence data elements within the attributed sequence data.

摘要: Data is handled in a distributed computing environment comprising at least one server and a plurality of clients comprising at least a first client and a second client. The first client sends a first request for data to the second client, receives a first response from the second client as a response to the first quest, determines a probability of validity of the data requested based on a validity indication included in the first response indicating a probability that the data requested from the second client is invalid. The first client determines that the data requested by the first request and available from the second client is likely invalid, sends a second request to the server to obtain the data from the server and receives the data from the server.
