    摘要: A wellbore completion apparatus includes an engager having an engageable surface configured for becoming engaged to a surface of the wellbore is disclosed. The apparatus is configurable in an engagement-ready state and an engagement state. Actuation of the apparatus such that it transitions from the engagement-ready state to the engagement state is with effect that the engageable surface becomes engaged to the wellbore surface. In the engagement-ready state, the engager can include a first free end and a second free end, and the transitioning to the engagement steady is effected in response to relative displacement between the first and second free ends. In the engagement state, the engager can be configured in a loop configuration.

    摘要: A two-pass heat exchanger with calibrated bypass is disclosed for cooling heat-generating substrates and/or for heating a heat transfer fluid. The heat exchanger has first and second outer plate walls and an intermediate plate wall located between and spaced from the outer plate walls in the thickness dimension of the heat exchanger, and with inlet and outlet ports at the same end. An input flow passage is defined between the first outer plate wall and the intermediate plate wall, and a return flow passage is defined between the second outer plate wall and the intermediate plate wall. The first and second fluid flow passages are in a U-flow, stacked arrangement. At least one bypass opening extends through the intermediate plate wall between the input and return flow passages, and configured to permit a portion of the heat transfer fluid to bypass portions of the input and return flow passages.

    摘要: A support assembly supports external veneer such as face-brick. A bracket mounts to a load bearing wall support structure. A shelf angle includes a horizontal leg that defines a surface upon which to mount the veneer. The mounting bracket may be a channel having a seat that includes an outwardly protruding toe, an accommodation for the shelf angle, and an overhanging finger. The back of the shelf angle may have apertures to admit the toes of the mounting bracket. The seat includes an oversized slot having a relief angle to permit the shelf angle web to be rotated angularly during assembly. The mounting bracket has an overhanging arm for engaging the part of a cross-wise running beam, such as an I-beam upper flange. The mounting bracket has an abutment for contacting a lower part of the beam, such as a lower flange of an I-beam. There is a fitting to secure the bracket to the beam.

    摘要: A method of configuring a mobile transceiver, a system, and a mobile transceiver are provided. In accordance with one embodiment, there is provided a method comprising: assigning a device profile to a mobile transceiver in accordance with a device identifier (ID) of the mobile transceiver, wherein the device profile is selected from a plurality of predefined device profiles in accordance with the device ID of the mobile transceiver, each device profile defining the types of alarms capable of being configured on the mobile transceiver; assigning an alarm profile to the mobile transceiver in accordance with the device ID in dependence on the types of alarms capable of being configured on the mobile transceiver defined by the assigned device profile, wherein the alarm profile defines a plurality of alarms, each alarm including a trigger condition and one or more actions; and sending the assigned alarm profile to the mobile transceiver, wherein the assigned alarm profile is applied by the mobile transceiver subsequent to being received by the mobile transceiver.
