摘要： Fasteners and related systems according to the invention include a collet body having a first part of a two part anti-rotation arrangement and a cylinder body having a second part of the two part anti-rotation arrangement wherein the collet body and the cylinder body are matably axially translatable with respect to each other, and have the same or similar outer diameter in some embodiments or not in others. A threaded member rotationally engages the collet body and compressively contacts the cylinder body during operation of the fastener to creating a clamping effect. Rotational interference between the first and second parts of the anti-rotation arrangement preferably occurs at sectional face portions of at least the collet body. Resistance to induced rotation of the cylinder body relative to a work piece rotation of the threaded member is preferably provided by a tool engaging a tool interface present on the cylinder body.

摘要： This invention relates generally to a method for making a deck for use in construction. In one embodiment, the method includes, but is not limited to, positioning a first box tube substantially parallel to a second box tube; attaching a plate to the first box tube and the second box tube, the plate extending between the first box tube and the second box tube; coupling a hydraulic cylinder to the plate; slidably inserting a first extension member at least partially into the first box tube; slidably inserting a second extension member at least partially into the second box tube, the first and second extension members having a beam extending therebetween; coupling the hydraulic cylinder to the beam; positioning a platform having one or more wheels on the plate and over the hydraulic cylinder such that the platform is rollable relative to the plate; attaching the platform to the beam such that the platform is operable to retractably extend beyond an edge of a floor of a building in conjunction with the first and second extension members in response to actuation of the at least one hydraulic cylinder; and forming a rectangular cuboid basket comprised of six faces with a connecting mechanism on a top face.

摘要： A waste burning toilet may operate on power generated from burning waste deposited in the toilet without connection to external electricity, a sewer, or water supply. A dryer connected to the toiled dries the waste prior to burning. The waste may be burnt in a firebox that is connected to the dryer. Heat from the firebox may be used to generate electricity that can power the components of the toilet system. The waste may be reduced to sterile ash.

摘要： A multi-functional slurry processing system (“VARCOR”) and associated methods is disclosed. The present examples provide a multi-functional slurry processing system incorporating systems and methods for separating liquid and solid components in slurries. In particular the systems and methods described herein produce clean water, dried solids, and potential concentration of desirable constituents with a boiling point lower than water. At least one example of the multi-functional slurry processing system provides a self-contained processing facility configured to efficiently convert high water-content slurries into its constituent solid and liquid fractions and subsequently generating and collecting clean water and concentrating desirable constituents with a boiling point lower than water. The multi-functional slurry processing system advantageously applies thermodynamic principles in a system which may include various combinations of a preheater, a degassing unit, a dryer, a steam filter, a compressor, a concentrating tower, and a condensation unit.
