    Abstract: An apparatus or system for enhancing an edge of a sporting court may include a first surface configured to engage with a surface of the sporting court and a second surface coupled to the first surface and configured to receive a ball and retain the ball in engagement with the second surface. The second surface may comprise a plurality of sub-surfaces, wherein one of the sub-surfaces may comprise a radial curve or at least one peak and at least one trough. The apparatus may comprise a retaining mechanism configured to retain at least one of the first surface or the second surface adjacent a court edge barrier.

    Abstract: A horizontal surface cover with a cover plate, at least one opening, and at least one access door. The cover plate is configured to cover an electrical device within an electrical box. The at least one opening extends through the cover plate and is sized to allow access to the electrical device through the at least one opening. The at least one access door is sized and shaped to fit within the at least one opening, and has a hinge with a hinge axis. The at least one access door is configured to translate along the hinge axis and rotate about the hinge axis to move between a closed position and an open position. The at least one access door is aligned with and inside of the at least one opening when in the closed position, and is misaligned with the at least one opening when in the open position.

    Abstract: A security sliding barrier with a sliding panel, a fixed panel, a latch channel, a lock, a strike plate, and an interlock assembly. The sliding panel is positioned between the latch channel and the fixed panel. The latch channel mounts to the frame distal to the fixed panel and the lock is mounted on the sliding panel and extends toward the latch channel. The strike plate is attached to the latch channel and has a receiver aligned with the lock that receives the lock when the security sliding barrier moves to a closed position, locking the first side of the sliding panel to the latch channel. The interlock assembly has a fixed interlock on the fixed panel and a sliding interlock on the sliding panel that engage when the security sliding barrier is in the closed position, locking the second side of the sliding panel to the fixed panel.

    Abstract: A system and method for data aggregation and process automation is disclosed. The method includes receiving a first data object from a first integration point through a first smart adapter, identifying an appropriate rules library from a plurality of rules libraries using a rules engine, the appropriate rules library being identified using the first data object, and applying the appropriate rules library through the rules engine. The rules are applied by instructing a transformation module to transform the first data object into a transformed data object, instructing a validation module to validate at least one of the first data object and the transformed data object, and instructing an aggregation module to perform a statistical analysis on one of the first data object and the transformed data object. Finally, the method includes sending the transformed data object to a second integration point associated with a second smart adapter.

    Abstract: An electronic assembly may include a component comprising conductive studs disposed over an active layer of the component. A first encapsulant layer may be disposed around four side surfaces of the component, over the active layer of the component, and contacting at least a portion of the sides of the conductive studs. A substantially planar surface may be disposed over the active layer of the component, wherein the substantially planar surface comprises ends of the conductive studs and the first encapsulant layer. The first encapsulant layer comprises a roughness less than 500 nanometers. First conductive elements may be disposed over the encapsulant and coupled with the conductive studs. A second layer of encapsulant may be disposed over the first conductive elements.

    Abstract: A firearm accessory mount comprising a mounting plate, a mechanical anchor, and a magnet. The mounting plate has at least two passages through the mounting plate. The mounting plate may be configured to mount on the firearm with the longitudinal axis parallel to a muzzle of the firearm. The passages may be aligned along the longitudinal axis. The mechanical anchor is configured to attach to the firearm and insert into the first passage. The mechanical anchor may have a protruding lip configured to engage with a wall of the first passage distal to the second passage and mechanically hold the mounting plate to the firearm when the mechanical anchor is inserted into the first passage. The magnet is configured to sit within the second passage and magnetically couple to the firearm.

    Abstract: A ladder rack assembly with a first rack member, a second rack member, and a threaded bolt. The first rack member has a first bracket and a first crossbar coupled to the first bracket, and the second rack member has a second bracket and a second crossbar coupled to the second bracket. The first crossbar and the second crossbar are slidably coupled to each other. The threaded bolt extends through the first crossbar and the second crossbar and is threadedly coupled to a nut. When the threaded bolt is rotated in a clockwise direction, the nut moves along the threaded bolt in a first direction, and when the threaded bolt is rotated in a counterclockwise direction, the nut moves along the threaded bolt in a second direction. The first bracket, the second bracket, and the threaded bolt are configured to retain an object during transport.
