    Abstract: A work light includes a housing having a first housing portion and a second housing portion, a lighting unit coupled to the first housing portion and configured to move, and a clamp mechanism. A battery receptacle is coupled to the housing and is configured to receive a battery that provides power to the lighting unit for illuminating a work area. The clamp mechanism is configured to secure the work light in a location on or adjacent to the work area. The clamp mechanism includes a first jaw formed on the first housing portion, a second jaw formed on the second housing portion, and a hinge that biases the first housing portion relative to the second housing portion. A handle extending from the first housing portion is graspable to move the first housing portion relative to the second housing portion against a bias of the hinge to open the clamp mechanism.

    Abstract: Some aspects of the disclosure provide a rotary hammer that is configured to impart impacts to a tool bit. The rotary hammer includes a housing, a motor disposed within the housing, a spindle, and an impact mechanism. The housing includes a first end that can have a handle and a second end that are configured to receive the tool bit. The housing extends along a direct direction between the first and second end. The spindle is disposed within the housing and rotatable by the motor. The spindle defines a spindle axis that is transverse relative to the first direction. The impact mechanism includes a piston and a striker. The piston is at least partially received within the spring for reciprocation therein. The striker is received within the spindle for reciprocation in response to reciprocation of the piston.

    Abstract: A power tool may include a compartment in its housing and a first printed circuit board (PCB) located in the housing and electrically coupled to a first connector. An insertable wireless communication device may include a second electronic processor and an antenna that are each mounted to a second PCB. The insertable wireless communication device may be configured to be received in the compartment and may include a second connector configured to electrically and physically couple to the first connector. The insertable wireless communication device may be configured to wirelessly communicate with an external device. When the insertable wireless communication device is inserted into the compartment, a first conductive layer of the first PCB may be configured to be electrically coupled to the antenna via the first connector and the second connector such that the first conductive layer of the first PCB serves as a ground plane of the antenna.

The battery receptacle is operable to receive a removable battery pack for providing electrical current to the motor. The battery receptacle defines a battery axis along which the battery pack is installed and the battery axis forms an acute battery angle relative to the work plane.

    Abstract: A cart for carrying a cut-off saw having a saw blade. The cart includes a frame with upper and lower portions, a wheel arm pivotably coupled to the lower portion about a first axis, and a rear wheel assembly coaxial with the first axis and coupled to the frame and the wheel arm. The cart includes a front wheel coupled to an end of the wheel arm opposite the rear wheel assembly, an adjustment lever pivotably coupled to the upper portion about a second axis, and a link having a first end pivotably coupled to the adjustment lever and spaced from the second axis, and a second end pivotably coupled to the wheel arm between the first axis and the front wheel. Pivoting the adjustment lever about the second axis pivots the wheel arm about the first axis to adjust a vertical position of the front wheel relative to the upper portion.
