    Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus (1) includes an image forming section (40), a decurler (20), a changing section (50), a first calculating section (72), storage (60), a second calculating section (73), and a controller (75). The image forming section (40) ejects ink onto a sheet (S). The decurler (20) bends the sheet (S). The changing section (50) changes a bending amount of the sheet (S). The storage (60) stores therein first bending information (62) indicating a first target bending amount (β) of a specific area of the sheet (S) corresponding to the ink ejection rate (α) to the specific area. The second calculating section (73) calculates a second target bending amount of each of the areas. The controller (75) controls the changing section (50) based on the second target bending amounts.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a sheet feeding tray. The sheet feeding tray includes a table, a pair of side cursors, a pair of rack gears, a pinion gear, a rotation shaft, and a biasing member. On the table, a sheet to be supplied in a predetermined sheet feeding direction is placed. The pair of side cursors are supported by the table, so as to move in a width direction intersecting the sheet feeding direction. The pair of rack gears are respectively fixed to the pair of side cursors, and extend in the width direction. The pinion gear is meshed with the pair of rack gears. The rotation shaft is fixed to the table, and rotatably supports the pinion gear, the rotation shaft being elastically deformable. The biasing member biases the rotation shaft in a direction for contacting the pinion gear.

    Abstract: A recording medium conveyance device includes a recording medium conveyance unit, a detecting member, a voltage application unit, and a control unit. The voltage application unit applies a detection voltage between the recording medium conveyance unit and the detecting member. When the recording medium conveyance unit conveys the recording medium, the control unit controls the voltage application unit to apply the detection voltage, detects contact between the recording medium and the detecting member, on the basis of a change in the detection voltage with respect to a predetermined threshold value, and determines conveyance abnormality of the recording medium.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to correct the deviation of a sheet in the width direction occurring on a conveyance path from a sheet correction mechanism (4) to a discharge tray. A sheet shift portion (41, 43, 44) moves a sheet in the width direction. A conveying position detecting portion (45, 46, 47) detects the position of the sheet in the width direction. A discharge position detecting portion (54, 8a) detects a discharge position of the sheet, in the width direction, discharged onto a discharge tray (33) in a sheet discharge portion (31). A control portion (8b) derives an amount of deviation between the discharge position and a discharge reference position based on a detection result of the discharge position detecting portion (54, 8a). Furthermore, the control portion (8b) corrects a conveying position of the sheet in a sheet conveying portion according to the amount of deviation.
