The at least one site recovery manager module is configured to synchronize disaster recovery configuration information including at least one group of protected virtual machines and at least one recovery plan via the pairing, and to execute each recovery plan in case of disaster. Each site also includes a cloud orchestrator configured to update disaster recovery configuration information in each site recovery manager module on request.

    摘要: A method for the rapid, automatic, and adaptative deployment of a cloud environment that is secure, that adapts to different hardware architectures, network architectures, cloud services, technologies, and user needs, and that requires minimal user input. Configuration data may be generated for a collection of software components, which may include user inputs and randomly generated data. This data may be stored in a configuration database that is updated as deployment proceeds. Available hardware such as servers, storage, and networks may be discovered automatically and added to the configuration database. An initial software component may be deployed to coordinate subsequent steps, and then additional software components may be deployed in a sequence that considers dependencies. Software components may be organized into deployment groups. Users may select subsets of the components to deploy. The deployed cloud environment may be tested and validated automatically.

    摘要: A control interface for deployment of an application, the control interface running on a specific cloud provider and connected to a plurality of other control interfaces running on a plurality of cloud providers, wherein the control interface is connected to a cloud provider database storing a description of each cloud provider. The control interface includes a cloud driver specific to the cloud provider on which the control interface is running, the cloud driver allowing the control interface to instruct the cloud provider to deploy components of the application. The control interface includes means to receive an attribute file describing the application to deploy; means to select for each component of the application, based on the descriptions provided by the cloud provider database and the attribute file, a cloud provider suitable for the deployment; for each selected cloud provider, means to send to the corresponding control interface the component to deploy.

The method includes detecting a specific label associated with the resource space after a relevant modification of the resource space. When the specific label is detected, then, filling a template with at least one monitoring metric, cloning a remote repository from an internet hosting service, writing the filled template into a local repository, pushing the local repository to the remote repository, and monitoring the resource space by deployment of the at least one monitoring metric upon detection of the push. Otherwise, when the specific label has been deleted, cloning the remote repository, deleting the filled template from the local repository, pushing the local repository to the remote repository, and canceling the monitoring upon deletion of the at least one monitoring metric.
