摘要: Generally described, the presently disclosed technology utilizes managed Wi-Fi networks pre-installed throughout an MDU property to provide user-specific passphrases that can be used to access the single-SSID wireless network at the property and to provide a cloud portal that can enable convenient access to the functionalities (both by the resident and the manager) provided by the Wi-Fi controller and the Wi-Fi access points. By doing so, the Wi-Fi network management solutions described herein allow the users to experience the benefits of a shared Wi-Fi infrastructure, such as not having to set up and maintain their own Wi-Fi routers, while also allowing them to easily change their Wi-Fi settings from their connected devices.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for performing verification using a shared key are disclosed. The method includes: receiving, by a first network element, a registration request message from a second network element, where the registration request message includes a user identifier, first network identifier information, and second network identifier information, the second network identifier information is obtained by processing the first network identifier information by using a shared key, and the shared key is a key used between the first network element and the second network element; verifying, by the first network element, the registration request message by using the shared key; and sending, by the first network element, a registration response message to the second network element. When receiving a registration request from a visited network, a home network verifies the registration request message by using a shared key, to avoid a spoofing attack from the visited network.

摘要: Techniques and devices for securing return communication through application uniform resource locators are described for commissioning a joiner device to a home area network by an initiator device in which the initiator device obtains a Responder Access Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and using the obtained Responder Access URL, generates an Augmented Responder Access URL. The initiator device accesses the Augmented Responder Access URL at a responder, which causes the responder to generate a Responder Payload. The initiator device accesses an Augmented Initiator Response URL including the generated Responder Payload and recovers the Responder Payload, the recovery of the Responder Payload causing the initiator device to commission the joiner device to the home area network.

摘要: A method performed by a network server is provided for authentication and key management for a terminal device in a wireless communication network. The method includes authenticating the terminal device during a primary authentication session for the terminal device. The method further includes responsive to a successful authentication of the terminal device, obtaining a first key. The method further includes generating bootstrapping security parameters. The parameters include a second key derived from the first key and a temporary identifier. The temporary identifier identifies the terminal device and the bootstrapping security parameters.

The method includes a terminal receives a downlink data packet, and determines whether the data format of the downlink data packet is a first data format or a second data format, wherein the first data format indicates that the downlink data packet is encrypted using a first key of a source base station and/or compressed using a first header compression format of the source base station, and the second data format indicates that the downlink data packet is encrypted using a second key of a target base station and/or compressed using a second header compression format of the target base station.

The proposed method includes changing the bearer type of specific bearer by the network. Further, the proposed method includes checking any changes in keys or PDCP termination point or PDCP version change. Furthermore, the proposed method includes notifying the UE to change the bearer type either through reconfiguration procedure without handover or SN change procedure or reconfiguration procedure with handover or SN change procedure. The network indicates one or more operations to the UE for performing the bearer type change.

摘要: A tracking device can provide a hashed identifier to a mobile device, for instance within an advertisement packet. The mobile device can query each of a plurality of entities with the hashed identifier to identify an entity associated with the hash key used to generate the hashed identifier. In some embodiments, the mobile device can query a centralized key server, which in turn can query the plurality of entities to identify the entity associated with the hash key. The mobile device can then receive a public key from the identified entity, can determine a location of the mobile device, and can encrypt the location with the public key. The mobile device can then provide the hashed identifier and the encrypted location to the identified entity, which can provide the encrypted location to an owner of the tracking device for decryption using a private key corresponding to the public key.
