The power connector includes a first power terminal received in the first terminal channel having a base configured to be coupled to a power element and contacts extending from the base for mating with a bus bar. The base is aligned with the opening to receive a fastener. The power connector includes a shroud slidable along the housing between an unactuated position and an actuated position. The shroud exposes the opening and the fastener in the unactuated position and covers the fastener in the actuated position.

A multi-wire planar cable extends from the connector. The multi-wire planar cable has a plurality of wires terminated to corresponding terminals and a common jacket for the plurality of wires. The jacket has grooves between adjacent wires for controlled separation of the wires and surrounding jacket portions at a sensor end of the multi-wire planar cable to define separated planar cable segments. The separated planar cable segments are routed to different areas for termination to different voltage sensors associated with corresponding bus bars.

    摘要: A bus brace apparatus for bracing electrical bus bars. The bus brace apparatus includes a bracing block with a plurality of bus bar-receiving recesses configured to receive bus bars therein and a plurality of legs defining sides of the bus-receiving recesses, wherein the legs including first apertures formed there through. Insulating positioners are received in each of the plurality of bus bar-receiving recesses and each of the insulating positioners include a second aperture formed therein. A fastener extends through each of the first and second apertures and aligns each of the insulating positioners within the bus bar-receiving recesses. A channel member is coupled to the bracing block and includes one or more sides configured to interface with a surface of the insulating positioners and limit rotation thereof in the bus bar-receiving recesses. Bus bar assemblies and methods of bracing bus bars are disclosed, as are other aspects.
