Abstract: A connection unit comprising two female connectors configured to be connected to respective circuit branches of a fluidic line and a coupling element for coupling the connectors together and establish a fluidic connection between the circuit branches, wherein the connectors are provided with first, normally closed sealing elements to define a sealing termination of the circuit branches when the connectors are disconnected from each other; the coupling element includes a double-male connector separable from the female connectors and provided with a pair of shanks that can be coupled to the respective female connectors and a control element movable between a first position where the coupling element can be coupled to the connectors in a mechanical pre-coupling condition without fluidic connection between the female connectors and a second position where the shanks of the double-male connector engage the respective female connectors and establish a fluidic connection therebetween.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for a coupling nozzle for cryogenic fluid. A nozzle for cryogenic fluid includes a flow body, a flow control assembly, a first linear actuator, and a locking actuator. The flow body defines a conduit. The flow control assembly is at least partially disposed in the conduit of the flow body. The flow control assembly is configured to transition between an open position and a closed position to permit and prevent, respectively, the cryogenic fluid to flow through the flow body. The first linear actuator includes an actuator body and a first shaft. The first shaft is configured to slide between an extended position and a contracted position to transition the flow control assembly between the open position and the closed position, respectively. The locking actuator is for locking the nozzle to a receptacle in an automated manner.

Abstract: A connection device for a ventilation element includes a transmission connection and a vent connection, the vent connection connects the connection device to a ventilation element, the component connection has a connection piece extending along a connecting axis, and a torsion ring surrounding the connection piece. A connecting rocker is arranged on the torsion ring, and the torsion ring is connected to the connection piece by a connecting bridge, and the connecting rocker has an actuation section and an engaging section for forming an interlocking connection. The torsion ring runs between the actuation section and the engaging section in a connecting region, in which it is connected to the connecting rocker, and the connecting bridge has a connecting arm, which starts from the connection piece and extends in the direction of the connecting axis up to the torsion ring and retains same at a radial distance from the connection piece.

Abstract: A remotely-operated fluid connection assembly to hold higher internal pressures in larger diameters. The assembly comprises a fluid connection adapter and a fluid connection housing assembly. A first seal section on the housing assembly sealingly contacts a first seal bore on the adapter when the adapter enters the housing assembly. Engagement of an externally-disposed locking ring on locking element outer surfaces causes inner surfaces on the locking elements to retain the adapter to the housing assembly via a lock engagement surface. The first seal section is further disposed to expand radially such that when the first seal section expands radially, the first seal section further tightens sealing contact against the first seal bore. Adapter displacement relative to the housing assembly preferably further tightens the adapter against the locking elements as now restrained by the locking ring.

Abstract: A remotely-operated fluid connection assembly to hold higher internal pressures in larger diameters. The assembly comprises a fluid connection adapter and a fluid connection housing assembly. When the adapter enters the housing assembly: (A) locking elements on the housing assembly constrict about the adapter; and (B) at least a first seal section on the adapter sealingly contacts a first seal bore on the housing assembly. Progressive engagement of a locking ring upon the locking elements urges the locking elements to tighten against the adapter. Internal pressure encourages adapter displacement, which then further tightens the adapter against the locking elements as now restrained by the locking ring. Internal pressure further encourages the first seal section on the adapter to expand radially to tighten the contact with the first seal bore in the housing assembly.

Abstract: A fuel vent connector includes a longitudinal axis and a flow path a long the longitudinal axis. The connector further includes a first portion pivotally supporting a plurality of fingers, each finger amongst the plurality of fingers having a latching head biased radially outwardly and configured to latch within a fuel vent opening. The connector further includes a second portion biased longitudinally away from the first portion with respect to the longitudinal axis. The flow path extends through the first and second portions, and longitudinal movement of the second portion towards the first portion moves the fingers radially inward.

Abstract: When releasing a connection between a second tube member and a first tube member, a ring member is moved, whereby an inclined surface of a bump part and an inclined surface of a bump part of a cam part slide, and a stopper rotates from a coupled position to an uncoupled position. Abstract: A tube coupling for use in a vacuum cleaner includes a first tubular part and a second tubular part, which parts can be coupled to and separated from one another. The first part includes a locking member which is movable from a first position, in which the locking member locks the second part relative to the first part, to a second position, in which the locking member releases the second part. The first part further comprises a slide which cooperates with the locking member, the locking member being moved to the second position if the slide is moved parallel to a longitudinal axis of the first part in a direction away from the second part. In this way, a force exerted on the slide to unlock the parts and a force exerted on the first part to separate the parts from one another are oriented in the same direction, as a result of which the tube coupling is very easy to handle. In a special embodiment the slide of the tube coupling is a grip held by the user when the parts are to be uncoupled. The user then exerts both the force necessary to unlock the parts and the force necessary to separate the parts on the slide, so that the parts are separable by one continuous movement of the hand of the user.
