摘要： The window frame is entirely made of plastic and has a glazing frame to be mounted in an opening of a door and a panel frame for fitting on the glazing frame from an opposite side of the door. The frames are made of extruded plastic elements and sandwich a window frame therebetween. The elements of the glazing frame have a lip for receiving the elements of the panel frame in slide friction-fit manner. A dual durometer bead is disposed between the interfitted elements for sealing purposes. Glazing beads are also mounted in an extruded element of the glazing frame to hold a window unit in place.

A spacer serves to keep the two glass panes apart and having at least one approximately flat strip fitted at least partly around the perimeter of the glazing panel and fixed by adhesive bonding using a fastener. 摘要： A top portion of the gutter cover section is formed with a pair of longitudinally extending, relatively spaced apart ridges and with a plurality of openings disposed in front of, in between and behind the ridges for draining rainwater into the gutter. A front wall extends downwardly from the top portion and a ledge extends generally horizontally from a lower portion of the front wall. The distance between an upper edge of the front wall and the horizontal ledge is relatively short to improve the versatility and appearance of the cover section. The aluminum alloy from which the cover section is formed is relatively thin, and the openings in the top portion are large enough to facilitate drainage, yet small enough to keep debris from accumulating on the cover section.

A second glazing bead is secured to a second receiving portion of the saddle. A glazing panel is secured within the opening between the first and second glazing beads. A method of forming the glazed door is also disclosed.

摘要： A collection safe is provided, especially for charitable donations, for installation in a wall of a building. The collection safe has a rectangular box formation and includes a first door on one side of the box for receiving donations and a second door on the opposing side of the box to provide access to the interior. The first door is connected to a pair of side walls which extend into the interior of the box. A baffle extends and is connected to the side walls so that the baffle is oriented 90° relative to the first door. The baffle has a free end with a jagged edge such as sharp teeth that terminates less than one inch from the first door to deter the retrieval of the donations from the first door. The space between the jagged edge of the baffle and the first door provides a slot for receiving the donation past the baffle to the floor of the collection safe.

Marginally distributed paired fulcrum holes 23 in shutter 24 provide bearing against the structural rigidity of shutters 24 to convert strap tension into compression by novel specialized structural clamping levers 10. Corner of wall opening 25 is clamped by lever against shutter 24. Elasticity of straps provides resilience in maintaining constant, high, compressive loading against concrete sills, etc. despite fluctuations due to turbulent wind loads. An additional embodiment is structural column assembly 30, which provides braces for garage doors or intermediate structure for wide architectural openings. All applications use identical, unaltered, universal attachment assemblies 20 for: shutter attachment, garage door bracing, and bracing of shutters in large architectural openings. Structural column, 31, herein shown as lumber and termination angle (not shown), provide shear connections of brace to structure.
