摘要: A grinding and shaping method using a vertical grinding mill, comprising: selecting a vertical grinding mill with thread pitch/diameter ratio of a spiral rotor; selecting the grade of a grinding medium and determining the filling factor and adding the grinding medium into a grinding chamber of the vertical grinding mill; sequentially initiating a dust collector, an air blowing device, a driving device and a feeding device, wherein the driving device propels the spiral rotor to rotate, and the air blowing device blows upward from bottom of the grinding chamber; adjusting rotation speed of the spiral rotor of the vertical grinding mill to change cycling speed of the raw material and the grinding medium in the grinding chamber; feeding a raw material into the feeding port at an upper end of the grinding chamber; initiating a discharging device, and discharging the raw material from a discharging port.

摘要: An invention is provided for creating smoothed, heat-treated glass fragments. The invention includes placing a plurality of heat-treated glass fragments into a tumbling or vibrating apparatus. Each heat-treated glass fragment is formed from glass that has been heated to a temperature of at least 1000° Fahrenheit and rapidly cooled to a temperature below 800° Fahrenheit. The plurality of glass fragments is then tumbled or vibrated for a predetermined period of time such that surfaces of the heat-treated glass fragments are smoother than prior to tumbling. The glass fragments are thereafter removed from the tumbling apparatus, resulting in smoothed, heat-treated glass fragments that have a slightly rounded, bead like-shape and are suitable for direct handling without hand protection.

摘要: In a method for detaching a frozen charge from an inner wall of a grinding tube of a tube mill, a motor of a drive system is operated in a first mode to rotate the grinding tube for grinding. In a second mode, the motor of the drive system is operated to remove the frozen charge from the inner wall of the grinding tube such that operation of the motor to effect a rotational movement of the grinding tube is repeatedly disturbed by a disturbance signal to cause a repeated disturbance within a variable time interval, with the time interval of the repeated disturbance being shortened.

摘要: A rotary milling system includes a body rotatable about its longitudinal axis and pivotable about a pivot axis that is transverse to the longitudinal axis. The system includes an interchangeable discharge grate and a solid cover for attaching to an open end of the body. The discharge grate includes a plurality of holes through which milled product can pass while grinding media is retained. The body is pivotable to a vertical orientation, where the covers can be changed, and to a horizontal orientation where grinding can be performed with the solid cover attached or discharge can be performed with the discharge grate attached. The discharge grate is sealed to a discharge housing during discharge via an annular seal, where the discharge grate and body are rotated relative to the fixed discharge housing. The discharge grate can include a deflector portion that deflects milled product away from the annular seal.

摘要: A motorized drum having a drum shell with a motor therein, the motor having a stationary shaft, stator windings, and a stator support structure that is affixed to the stationary shaft. A rotor rotates coaxially around the stator, and a cycloidal reducer has an output that rotates at a reduced rate. The reducer output is rotationally fixed to, and is disposed within, the drum shell. An input gear of the reducer received a hollow eccentric input shaft, and is urged into eccentric motion as the input shaft rotates. The output gear urges the drum shell into rotation at same rate of rotation as the output gear. An harmonic drive speed reducer that has an input shaft provides rotatory motion to a wave generator that is disposed against a flexible splined member. The flexible splined member engages a rigid circular spline member at two radially opposed zones. Induction and permanent magnet forms of operation are used.
