摘要： A radial core type double rotor brushless direct-current motor is provided in which a double rotor structure is employed with inner and outer rotors which are doubly disposed and thus a stator core is completely divided. The motor includes a rotational shaft which is rotatably mounted on a housing of an apparatus, cylindrical inner and outer yokes which are rotatably mounted on the center of the housing, inner and outer rotors including a number of magnets which are mounted with the opposing polarities on the outer surface of the inner yoke and the inner surface of the outer yoke, and a number of cores assemblies which are installed between the inner and outer rotors in which a number of coils are wound around a number of division type cores, respectively.

A temperature around a motor is sensed and the range of current input to the motor in accordance with the sensed temperature is limited in stages. Therefore, the surrounding of the motor can be prevented from being overheated. In addition, since the range of the current input to the motor is limited in stages, when the current applied to the motor is limited, abnormal noise is not generated and the torque of the motor can be maximized.

摘要： Drum type washing machine including a tub of plastic having a wall for holding washing water therein and mounting a driving part thereon, a drum rotatably arranged inside of the tub, a shaft passed through the tub and connected to the drum for transmission of a driving power from a motor to the drum, at least one bearing for supporting the shaft, a bearing housing having a sleeve form of bearing supporting part, and a stator fastening part extended in a radial direction from the bearing supporting part, wherein both of the bearing supporting part and the stator fastening part are inserted in a tub rear wall, while stator fastening holes in the stator fastening part are exposed, a rotor engaged to a rear end part of the shaft to form the motor together with the stator, and the stator mounted on the stator fastening part of the bearing housing with fastening members on an inner side of the rotor to form the motor together with the rotor, wherein the stator includes an annular helical type core having multiple layers formed by winding a steel plate having tooth portions and a base part in a helix starting from a bottom layer to a top layer, an insulator having the helical type core encapsulated therein, a coil wound on the tooth portions, and fastening parts formed as a unit with the insulator, having fastening holes projected toward an inside of the helical type core for fastening the stator to the bearing housing, thereby reducing a weight of required material, simplifying an assembly process, and assure stable mounting of the stator on the tub.

摘要： Device and method for detecting malfunction of a clutch in a washing machine, the device including a clutch including a coupling for transmission of a power from a motor to a washing shaft or a spinning shaft, a clutch motor (60) for providing a power to the coupling, a switch for controlling the coupling, and a cam (600) fitted to be rotatable with the clutch motor for turning on/off the switch in response to the rotation, a power supplying part for supplying a voltage to the motor and the clutch motor (60), a pulse counting part for counting a number of pulses of a voltage supplied to the clutch motor from the power supplying part, and a microcomputer for repeating a process in which the clutch motor is stopped for a second set time period (S20) and operated again if the switch is not switched for a first set time period from a time the clutch motor is put into operation, and informs to a user that the clutch is in malfunction if the switch is not switched while the process is repeated equal to or more than a set times, thereby determining the clutch of being out of order and informing a result of the determination to a user.
