Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to measure self-interference between multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) of the UE and initiate sidelink full duplex communications based on the measured self-interference. The UE may transmit a message to a base station to request resources for sidelink communications by the UE and indicate an intended self-interference measurement by the UE using the resources. The base station may transmit a grant scheduling the resources for the self-interference measurement by the UE. The UE may measure interference between a TRP of the UE that is configured for transmission and a TRP of the UE that is configured for reception using the scheduled resources. The UE may transmit a sidelink feedback message indicating resources that are available for sidelink full duplex communications by the UE based on the measured self-interference.

Abstract: According to some aspects, a wireless device may indicate to another device a receive configuration indicator (RCI) to indicate a receive spatial configuration of the wireless device. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques at a user equipment (UE) provide for efficiently falling back to a half-duplex mode from a full-duplex mode when a level of interference is high. In particular, the UE may measure the level of interference at the UE (e.g., caused at least partially by self-interference between transmissions and receptions at the UE), and the UE may fall back to a half-duplex mode if the level of interference is above a threshold. In one example, the UE may transmit channel state information (CSI) reference signals (CSI-RSs) on resources allocated for interference measurements, and the UE may perform measurements on the CSI-RSs to identify a level of interference. In another example, the UE ay transmit a data packet on resources allocated for interference measurements, and the UE may decode the data packet to identify a level of interference.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a buffer status report for a first sidelink transmission to a device. The first UE may receive, from a second UE, sidelink control information scheduling the first UE for a time resource for a second sidelink transmission from the second UE, the sidelink control information including an indication of a serving cell identifier of the second UE. The first UE may detect a half-duplex scheduling conflict, or a possible half-duplex scheduling conflict, based on the serving cell identifier and transmit an indication of the conflict to a serving base station. The base station may then assign, or re-assign, resources for the first sidelink transmission to avoid the scheduling conflict.
