Abstract: Aspects of sensor activation or deactivation for positioning a mobile device in a wireless communication network are disclosed. These aspects include, during a positioning session between the mobile device and a location server, determining with the location server that a first trigger condition or a second trigger condition has been met regarding reporting, by the mobile device to the location server, of sensor data from one or more sensors of the mobile device, where: the first trigger condition may comprise a trigger condition for activating the reporting, and the second trigger condition may comprise a trigger condition for deactivating the reporting. Aspects further include sending, from the location server to the mobile device, a message may comprise either: instructions to activate the reporting responsive to determining the first trigger condition has been met, or instructions to deactivate the reporting responsive to determining the second trigger condition has been met.

Abstract: Downlink schemes are disclosed for a cooperative user equipment (UE) with joint baseband processing. UEs may establish a cooperative UE unit with one or more neighboring UEs, where one of the UEs operates as the primary UE. The participating UEs of the cooperative UE unit determine a downlink transmission scheme for the cooperative transmissions from a serving base station and receive cooperative transmissions of one or more transport blocks from the serving base station according to the downlink transmission scheme. The secondary UEs of the cooperative UE unit generate and transmit cooperative process data to the primary UE, where the cooperative process data is based on the receipt of the cooperative transmissions by the secondary UEs. The primary UE processes its received cooperative transmission along with the cooperative process data to decode the one or more transport blocks. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a UE (user equipment) includes receiving, from a MAC (media access control) layer, a first configured grant PDU (protocol data unit). The method also includes receiving, from the MAC layer, a second configured grant PDU. The method also includes determining whether a conflict exists between the first configured grant PDU and the second configured grant PDU. The method further includes triggering, at the MAC layer, a retransmission procedure for the second configured grant PDU when the conflict exists. The triggering can occur in response to receiving a message indicating failure to send.

Abstract: Aspects for MAC-CE duplication for packet repetition in uplink and downlink are disclosed. In one particular aspect a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a message including a component carrier (CC) identifier (ID) for a particular Medium Access Control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE). The method also includes receiving, by the UE, a first MAC-CE via a first CC of a plurality of CCs, and receiving, by the UE, a second MAC-CE via a second CC of the plurality of CCs. The CC ID included in the message corresponds to a CC ID for the second MAC-CE. The method further includes combining, by the UE based on the CC ID for the second MAC-CE, a first signal corresponding to the first MAC-CE and a second signal corresponding to the second MAC-CE to generate a combined signal for decoding.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some methods include receiving an indication of a traffic flow to be served by a wireless communication system, determining scheduling information for the traffic flow based on the indication, wherein the scheduling information comprises one or more of a time offset, a reliability, and a minimum throughput of delivery of data traffic for the flow, and transmitting the scheduling information in response to the indication. Some methods include determining delta time offset information relative to one or more existing time offsets of packet arrivals of one or more traffic flows for scheduling transmissions of a first traffic flow in the wireless communication system, and transmitting the delta time offset information to a node of the first traffic flow for scheduling transmissions of the first traffic flow in the wireless communication system.
