    Abstract: A first apparatus may determine that a DU function of a child IAB node is to transition between a first set of resources associated with an MT function of the child IAB node and a second set of resources associated with the DU function. The first apparatus may further configure a guard period associated with the transition time based on the first set of resources and based on the second set resources. A second apparatus determine to transition between a first set of resources associated with an MT function of the second apparatus and a second set of resources associated with a DU function of the second apparatus at a transition time. The second apparatus may further transmit, to a parent IAB apparatus, information requesting a guard period associated with the transition time based on the transition between the first set of resources and the second set resources.

    Abstract: A relay supporting multiple relay modes is provided. The relay transmits capability information to a base station, the capability information indicating support for a first relay mode and a second relay mode. The relay determines a mode of operation, either on its own or based on an indication of a mode of operation from the base station, wherein the mode of operation comprises the first relay mode or the second relay mode. In some aspects, a child node of a parent node in an integrated access backhaul (IAB) network may determine communication information that includes one or more of a schedule or a configuration for a communication to be transmitted by the child node. The child node may be an IAB node, and the parent node may be an IAB donor or an intervening IAB node between the IAB node and an IAB donor. The child node may transmit the communication information to the parent node via a wireless backhaul link between the child node and the parent node. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide systems and techniques for full-duplex communication. A first system is characterized by techniques for communicating in full-duplex utilizing the Butler matrix beamformer for generating a spatial beam to be used for both uplink and downlink signaling, wherein the signaling utilizes the same time and frequency resources. A second system is characterized by techniques for communicating in full-duplex utilizing the Butler matrix beamformer to generate two spatial beams, one to be used for downlink and one to be used for uplink signaling, wherein the signaling utilizes the same time and frequency resources. Accordingly, the systems and techniques described herein are directed to low complexity, multi-user full-duplex communications.
