摘要: A method and computer program are provided for implementing a method for cartoonish picturization by generation from three-dimensional object data. The placement of the three-dimensional object, the view point, and the position of an illumination light source are set. The direction in which the three-dimensional object exists is obtained as mask information, the colors indicating the object are obtained as color information, the distance between the object outer surfaces and the view point is object as distance information, and normal vectors of the outer surfaces are obtained as normal vector information. Based on the mask information, the distance information, and the normal vector information, main lines (61, 71, 76) are plotted (23) as two-dimensional pixels, a based on the color information and a reference value, textures (601, 602, 701, 702) differing about the region of the reference value are applied to achieve visual gradation (24), and the main lines and textures are combined to generate a two-dimensional image that is a cartoonish picturization to be displayed.

摘要: A three-layered prosody control description language is used to insert prosodic feature control commands in a text at the positions of characters or a character string to be added with non-verbal information. The three-layered prosody control description language is composed of: a semantic layer (S layer) having, as its prosodic feature control commands, control commands each represented by a word indicative of the meaning of non-verbal information; an interpretation layer (I layer) having, as its prosodic feature control commands, control commands which interpret the prosodic feature control commands of the S layer and specify control of prosodic parameters of speech; and a parameter layer (P layer) having prosodic parameters which are objects of control by the prosodic feature control commands of the I layer. The text is converted into a prosodic parameter string through synthesis-by-rule. The prosodic parameters corresponding to characters or character string to be corrected are corrected by the prosodic feature control commands of the I layer, and speech is synthesized from a parameter string containing the corrected prosodic parameters.

摘要: A magnesium alloy structural member having excellent corrosion resistance is provided. The magnesium alloy structural member includes a magnesium alloy substrate that contains more than 7.5% by mass of Al and an anticorrosive layer formed on a surface of the substrate by chemical conversion treatment. The substrate contains a precipitate, typically, particles dispersed therein. The particles are made of an intermetallic compound containing at least one of Al and Mg and have an average particle size of 0.05 μm or more and 1 μm or less. The total area of the particles accounts for 1% by area or more and 20% by area or less. The anticorrosive layer includes a lower sublayer and a surface sublayer on the substrate in this order. The surface sublayer is denser than the lower sublayer. The substrate of the magnesium alloy structural member has high corrosion resistance because of a high Al content. The magnesium alloy structural member has excellent corrosion resistance because of the dense sublayer on the front side of the anticorrosive layer, which prevents a corrosive liquid from reaching the substrate. The porous lower sublayer can reduce the tendency of the anticorrosive layer to detach from the substrate, for example, upon impact and allows the magnesium alloy structural member to retain high corrosion resistance.

摘要: A magnesium alloy sheet is made of a magnesium alloy containing Al. Particles of an intermetallic compound containing at least one of Al and Mg are present in the sheet in a dispersed state. The sheet includes an oxide film which extends substantially over the surface of the sheet and which has a uniform thickness. The average size of the particles of the intermetallic compound is 0.5 μm or less. The percentage of the total area of the particles is 11% or less. Therefore, the magnesium alloy sheet is excellent corrosion resistance. A magnesium alloy structural member is provided.

摘要: There are provided a magnesium alloy coil stock having good flatness and a method for producing the magnesium alloy coil stock, and a magnesium alloy structural member that uses the coil stock and a method for producing the magnesium alloy structural member. The coil stock is obtained by coiling a sheet composed of a magnesium alloy in a cylindrical shape, and the internal diameter of the coil stock is 1000 mm or less. When a test piece 1 for warpage amount obtained by cutting the coil stock is paced on a horizontal table 100, the ratio of the maximum distance h in a vertical direction regarding a gap 110 between the test piece 1 and the horizontal table 100 relative to the width w of the test piece 1 is 0.5% or less. The coil stock can be produced by rolling a cast material obtained by subjecting a magnesium alloy to continuous casting, subjecting the rolled sheet to warm leveling, and coiling the worked sheet in a cylindrical shape while the temperature just before coiling is decreased to 100° C. or less. By sufficiently decreasing the temperature just before coiling, there is provided a coiled sheet with good flatness in which warpage in the width direction is not easily formed even if the number of turns is large and curling is not easily formed even if the coiling diameter is small.
