Abstract: A method and a device to transmit a reference signal (RS) in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The device transmits control information and a first type RS for demodulating the control information through a control region comprising 1 first OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbol of a subframe; and transmits data through a data region comprising a predetermined number of OFDM symbols following the control region of the subframe. Here, the first type RS can be used also for demodulating the data when a predetermined condition is met.

Particularly, the method may include receiving a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) including Downlink Control Information (DCI) for scheduling the system information; descrambling a Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) of the DCI based on a System Information-Radio Network Temporary Identifier (SI-RNTI); obtaining first information on a type of the system information from a specific bit included in the DCI; receiving the system information based on second information for scheduling the system information, which is included in the DCI; and determining the type of the system information based on the first information.

Abstract: A UE transmits a random access channel (RACH) preamble and a BS receives the RACH channel. The BS configures the RACH preamble to align boundaries of the RACH preamble with boundaries of OFDM symbols on which the RACH preamble is configured in the time domain. The UE generates/transmits the RACH preamble to align the boundaries of the RACH preamble with the boundaries of OFDM symbols on which the RACH preamble is configured in the time domain.
