摘要: A manually activated elevator braking release including an actuating element placed away from the brake and a mechanical power transmission system for transmitting releasing power from the actuator to a brake element. The actuator is placed on a landing and a window is provided near the actuator so that an operator can observe movement of the hoisting ropes and/or traction sheave. Arrival of the elevator car at one of the landing zones is indicated in a manner allowing it to be perceived from a position near the actuator.

摘要: An elevator motor (2) employing permanent magnets (30) attached in a circle on the surface (36) of the rotor disc (12). The rotor disc (12) forms part of both the magnetic circuit and the supporting structure of the rotor (13). The permanent magnets (30) are placed in a separate cavity formed in the stator disc and having one side open, said cavity also housing the stator windings (17). The outer cavity wall directed towards the rotor disc (12) is provided with a sealing member to close the cavity.

摘要: An elevator machinery (1) with a disc type motor is mounted on one of the guide rails (6) of the elevator car or counterweight. The guide rail (6) constitutes a part adding to the mechanical strength of the elevator machinery. The vertical forces applied to the traction sheave (4) by the elevator ropes are passed to the guide rail (6) via the rolling center of a bearing. The elevator machinery is provided with a damping system to absorb vibrations and oscillations. The elevator machinery (1) of the invention is light in weight, needs only a small space when mounted and is inexpensive to manufacture.

摘要: An elevator may include an elevator car, a set of hoisting ropes, a traction sheave, and a compensating device. The set of hoisting ropes may include first and second rope portions. The elevator car may include one or more first diverting pulleys from which the first rope portions extend upward. The elevator car may include one or more second diverting pulleys from which the second rope portions extend downward. The first rope portions may be under a first rope tension. The second rope portions may be under a second rope tension that is different from the first rope tension. The compensating device may act in substantially opposite directions on the first and second rope portions. The compensating device may produce an auxiliary force acting substantially in a same direction as the first rope tension.

摘要: An elevator includes a set of hoisting ropes supporting a counterweight and an elevator car moving on respective tracks, each hoisting rope having a substantially round cross-section, and a hoisting machine engaging the set of hoisting ropes via a traction sheave. The traction sheave has a plurality of rope grooves. Each of the plurality of rope grooves generally conforms to a substantially circular shape. Each of the plurality of rope grooves has an opening for receiving a hoisting rope from among the set of hoisting ropes. A coating is adhesively bonded to each of the plurality of rope grooves. Each hoisting rope has a diameter below 8 mm. Each hoisting rope is composed of steel wires having a strength exceeding 2000 N/mm2. A contact angle between the set of hoisting ropes and the traction sheave is greater than about 180 degrees.

摘要: A method for installing, securing, or installing and securing at least one rope pulley of an elevator may include: arranging a set of ropes of the elevator and the at least one rope pulley, in a rigged or unrigged state, near an elevator car of the elevator or in a shaft of the elevator; and detachably mounting the at least one rope pulley to the elevator car, a frame structure of the elevator car, or a guide rail of the elevator car using a quick coupling. The elevator may include the ropes, the at least one rope pulley, the elevator car, and elevator car guide rails. The ropes may pass around the at least one rope pulley. The at least one rope pulley may be adapted to detachably mount to the elevator car, the frame structure, or one of the elevator car guide rails using a quick coupling.
