摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) device is disclosed. The LCD device comprises an LCD panel, a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) disposed at a side of the LCD panel, and a chip disposed on the FPCB to drive the LCD panel. The LCD device further comprises a heat dissipating element, and the chip is covered by the heat dissipating element so that heat generated by the chip is dissipated via the heat dissipating element. Thereby, damage to the chip due to an overhigh temperature can be avoided, thus prolonging the service life of the LCD device.

摘要: The present invention discloses a backlight module and a liquid crystal display (LCD) thereof. The backlight module comprises a backplane and a heatsink plate attached to the backplane, and the backlight module of the LCD also comprises at least one press plate, wherein the press plate is attached to the heatsink plate to tightly press the heatsink plate against the backplane. Because a press plate is added in the present invention to tightly press the heatsink plate, the press plate reduces the gaps formed between the places away from the attaching points because of small pressure. Therefore, thermal contact resistance is reduced, the heat in the cavity of the backlight is conducted to the metal backplane in time, and the temperature of the backlight module is reduced.

摘要: A backlight module is disclosed. The backlight module comprises a first optical film, a second optical film, a backplate frame, and an optical film supporting device adapted to splice and support the first optical film and the second optical film. The optical film supporting device comprises a body, a splicing portion and a fixing portion. The splicing portion is adapted to splice and support the first optical film and the second optical film, and the fixing portion is fixed to the backplate frame. A liquid crystal display (LCD) device comprising the backlight module described above is also disclosed. By providing an optical film supporting device in the backlight module of the present invention, two or more optical films can be spliced by the optical film supporting device to satisfy the demands for a large-sized optical film. This solution is practical, reliable and low in the cost.

摘要: The invention provides liquid crystalline blends, a device such as a photovoltaic cell using the blend and method thereof. A liquid crystalline blend comprises at least an electron donor and at least an electron acceptor with a weight or molar ratio in the range of from about 1:20 to about 20:1. Another liquid crystalline blend comprises at least an electron donor and at least an electron acceptor, wherein the electron donor, the electron acceptor, or both is (are) halo-substituted such as F-substituted. The donor or the electron acceptor can be excited by an electromagnetic radiation such as solar light to induce electron transfer between the donor and the acceptor. The photovoltaic cell is improved in that favorable molecular arrangement in the blend gives more interfaces between the donor and the acceptor and thus a viable path for dissociation and electrons and/or holes; as well as larger light-harvesting area toward the coming light.
