Abstract:
An automatic transmission includes first to third single-pinion planetary gearsets. The second ring gear and third sun gear are coupled to the first carrier and first ring gear respectively to constitute first and second rotor units. Input and output shafts are coupled to the second sun gear and third ring gear respectively. A first clutch selectively holds the first sun gear to the third carrier. A first brake selectively holds the first sun gear stationary. A second clutch selectively holds the second sun gear to the third carrier. A third clutch selectively holds the second carrier to the second rotor unit. A fourth clutch selectively holds the second carrier to the third carrier. A second brake selectively holds the first rotor unit stationary. At least eight gear ratios and one reverse gear ratio are obtained by simultaneous application of three of the clutches and brakes.
Abstract:
An absorbent article comprising at least one topsheet; a liquid impervious backsheet joined with the topsheet; an absorbent core interposed between the topsheet and backsheet; and a slow recovery elastomer. The slow recovery elastomer exhibits a normalized unload force at 37° C. of greater than about 0.04N and at least about 20% post elongation strain at 22° C. after 15 seconds of recovery.
Abstract:
A solar cell device includes a solar cell with a semiconductor having at least one p-doped region and at least one n-doped region. Electrical p-contacts and n-contacts on the back of the solar cell are connected to correspondingly doped regions of the semiconductor. At least one p-busbar is connected to the electrical p-contacts and at least one n-busbar is connected to the electrical n-contacts. The busbars collect current of the electrical contacts and form a direction of longitudinal extension and a connection arrangement providing an electrically conductive connection of at least one busbar of the solar cell to at least one busbar of an adjacent solar cell. The connection arrangement includes at least one first connection section extending essentially perpendicular to the direction of longitudinal extension of the busbars, which connection section, by way of connection regions, is connected in a point-like manner with at least one busbar.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a solar cell that comprises a planar semiconductor substrate with a front and a back; a multitude of holes that interconnect the front and the back; and current-collecting electrical contacts that are exclusively arranged on the back. The front comprises highly doped regions and lightly doped regions of a first type such that in each case the holes are situated in a highly doped region or adjoin such a region. According to a first aspect of the invention, the highly doped regions are arranged locally around the holes. According to a second aspect of the invention, the front comprises at least one region without holes, and the highly doped regions comprise one region or several regions that extends/extend to the at least one hole-free region. The invention furthermore relates to methods for manufacturing such solar cells.
Abstract:
A disposable absorbent article to be worn about the lower torso of a wearer that facilitates an easy, intuitive change is provided. The disposable absorbent article includes at least one serviceable indicium that facilitates an easy, intuitive change by aligning the article relative to an anatomical feature of the wearer or relative to a component of the article thereby enhancing the fit and corresponding performance of the article.
Abstract:
A disposable absorbent article with a backsheet and a first topsheet, is capable of being at least partially in contact with the wearer's skin when in use. The first topsheet being a fibrous three-dimensional web, having bonded regions where the fibers are bonded to another, and unbonded regions, where the fibers are unbonded to one another. The fibers extend from at least one unbonded region into at least two bonded regions, typically in the form of loops. The bonded regions form the support structure for the unbonded regions, and the surface area of the unbonded regions is at least 2 mm2. The topsheet has a thickness (caliper) of between 0.1 and 5 mm.
Abstract:
A disposable absorbent article to be worn about the lower torso of a wearer that facilitates an easy, intuitive change is provided. The disposable absorbent article includes at least one serviceable indicium that facilitates an easy change by providing alignment of the article relative to an anatomical feature of the wearer or by externally highlighting one or more components of the article thereby indicating alignment and fit about the wearer's lower torso.
